Veneziano eventually came to the living room acting like everything was okay. His breathing still a bit shaky from crying. Spain had left smiling but worried. So the brothers were left back to sitting in silence. Both were lost in thought. Before they knew it, the sun had gone down and the moon was shining brightly in the sky.

There was a world meeting tomorrow and they decided to tell all the other then. The thing was the meeting was held in their country. They went to bed early. For once Romano didn't complain about Veneziano sleeping in his bed with him.

The next morning they had to wake up early to get ready for the meeting. The feeling of sadness never left. Throughout that whole morning Veneziano never smiled or laughed. All he did is frown like his fratello. They didn't say a word to each other until they got into car.

"What do you think their going to do when they find out?" Romano asked his fratello.

"I don't know..." Veneziano answered trailing off into thought. After a minute or two they drove off to the meeting.

They were the first ones there so they had time to think. They sat down next to each other. Veneziano looked to the ground but Romano studied him. That was when he noticed Veneziano's eyes were open. Noticing that made Romano frown even more. He knew that when his brothers eyes were open it meant that things got serious. Romano looked away from his brother and looked to a random direction and lost himself in his own thoughts.

Veneziano thought about how they were going to tell the other countries. Something like this has only happened once before but at least he didn't have to die. He did but he didn't have to die so soon. Veneziano bit his lip in frustration. What will I do? He thought.

Suddenly the doors flew open causing the brothers to look to the door. It was America and his slightly transparent brother Canada. America was boasting out his usual catchphrases like "I'm the hero!"
Canada ignored his brother and observed the room. He could feel the tension in the room. Then he noticed Veneziano's opened eyes. Canda's eyes widened. He poked his brother trying to get his attention.

"What is it?" America asked. Canada pointed to Veneziano and Romano. America studied them for a minute before realizing their sad expressions. He grew worried for the nations.

The doors opened once again but this time it was Spain, France and England. The Italy brothers grew more nervous as more people walked in. All the nations that walked in noticed Veneziano's opened eyes.

Eventually all the nation got to the meeting. They all sat in the abnormal tension and uncomfortable silence. Veneziano took a deep breath and stood up.

"We have some important news." he said sternly. Everyone was stunned by how serious he was. "Our boss has decided that there will only be one representative for the country of Italy and we have to decide with one of us has to go.." He sat down after finishing.
Silence ran though the room.

Then America spoke up, "What do you mean that one of you has to 'go'?" Everyone looked to the brothers. When Veneziano heard that question he couldn't help but cry. The thought of him or his brother disappearing for good hurt him. He put his face in his hands and sobbed.

Romano looked to ground. He had tears pricking at his eyes but he held them back. He bit his lip trying to hold them back. Eventually one escaped.

All the other nations didn't know what to do. All they thought to do was sit there in silence, stunned and confused. Who should go and who should stay? They asked themselves not knowing the answer.
