So here's what he looks like :3 face claim is the Collector from Owl House
And, obviously, he's not cannon if you don't want to add him ^^ and you can change whatever you like

He named himself Moony, as he was never given one.

Moony was created by either a fight or random interaction between Nezine and Corneas. The combination of their power and/or magic created him, and he became the first (and possibly only) Muse

The description of muse in my eyes is:
A god of tales and magic, essentially a powerful God who spreads the stories of Gods and Heros, and has some semblance of control of a certain kind of magic
In the case of Moony, I imagine he's got some kind of control over light, as Nezine= stars/nightsky, which gives light at nighttime
And Corneaus who has the whole sun thing which is a giant sky light

So it's up to you the specifics, but I imagine one of the two decide to lock Moony away for some reason (the exact reason depends on which one) and the opposite tries to release him in the present day (or maybe even the one who did it, maybe they have a revelation or want to use him, ect.)

While locked away (just like the collector) Moony can communicate and appear when light is reflected off his disk, but he cannot interact with anything or one. Simply make shadows as he pleases
