waking up beside you
grasping for air
not sure if still dreaming
if still a forever longing
of a touch so full of life
made me go insane
might have been too much to bear
though last night's kiss
couldn't be more real
now i've been staring at your calmness
longer than i should
i'm ready to be sacrificed
if you ever would
as if an angel
came down to pay a price
must have done something wrong
which i paid for all along
still somehow redemption was given
as when you looked me in the eyes
and again
touched the butterflies
