Escaping problems

Adrien: yeah, shut up now

I wear my dark blue suit, the necktie is killing my neck, but I should be professional even in my clothes. I went to check the company, and I left my suitcase in the limousine. Everything is fine and good so I greeted everyone and I left to the airport for my private jet.

I laid my head on the jet's window, looking at the sky, lost in my thoughts. How ill act with her? How she will act with me? Will she let me talk at least? Will she let me say a word at least?

I put my hand on my slapped cheek, I still feel it, how could my wife doubt in me? Why I also left to another country? Plagg was right, I left to avoid escaping my problems, but it's time to face them.

I'm in Paris airport after a flight of 10 hours. I can't even feel my body, I'm so tired, but I don't want to face her today, I need to wait. Also, it was 11pm in Paris.

To be less suspicious, I booked a room in the grand palace, and I spent my night there, I didn't even remove my suit, I was so tired, all what I want is .... Sleeping.

I laid on the bed, I had to dream for some minutes for sure. I turned to the other side of the empty bed, there isn't my wife to cuddle her. Some tears fall from my eyes. I miss her so much. All what I did, I cuddled the pillow and I slept.

It's already 7am. I should go to work, I bet a lot of paperwork are waiting for me, I was absent for 1 week. I'm sure I'll find Alya and Nino there as they work.

I got a shower, I wear a suit, I slide my hair all back, and I went to the limousine. I asked my driver to get my suitcase in the mansion once he drives me to work.

I went to my office, it's already 7h45 am, and we start working at 8h30 am, I'm so early, but better to finish my papers fast. I found a mountain, so I got a glass of whiskey and I started reading and signing till the employee started coming.

POV Marinette:

I couldn't sleep well, but I had to go to work. I was alone in our big bed, I really miss him, I want to apologize for each word I said, for the slap and for doubting in my husband.

I wake up, I didn't even take the time to eat anything, I don't want, I'm not also hungry since Adrien left me.

I got my shower and I put a red dress then I left to the work using my car. Even in this car, I remember him, it was a gift from him. Each part of this car, just remind me on how stupid I was to slap him.

It's 8h35 am, not really new that I'm late, they are all habituated of such thing from me.

My office is in the latest floor of the building next to Adrien's office and Lila's office, his stupid assistant, between all the girls, Lila, like seriously.

I was passing to my office till I found Adrien in his office, a pen in his right hand and a glass of whiskey in his left hand, signing the papers. My eyes widened, what the hell is going on here.

He didn't notice me, so I put my purse in my office and I went to him in his office. He didn't raise his head to look at me, till I faked a cough.

We were looking into each other's eyes, so he stands up and goes toward me without breaking the visual contact.

We were facing each other, without a word, it was so silent that we are able to hear our hearts beating. I should apologize, so I wrapped my arms around his back, I buried my head in his chest and I hugged him but he didn't respond. I understand, I really hurted him a lot

Marinette: I'm so sorry for what I did, I shouldn't slap you

He didn't even take the time to respond, did he hate me so much now?

Marinette: please say something? I beg you. I really didn't doubt in you, I was just dumb, you know how much I love you, you are my life, you are my universe, and I know that saying sorry won't fix anything. The new hawkmoth just trapped me and I was dumb to believe, forgive me please. Even my hormones are not helping me in such situations, I shouldn't do stupid things, please forgive me

POV Adrien:

I didn't hug her back once she hugged me, I just wanted to hear her first, but she started crying. I felt that someone just squeezed my heart with his hand.

She looked at me, then she lay down her arms from my back, turned back and started leaving my office till I grabbed her wrist and grab her closer to me. I hugged her so tight, my tears are falling, whatever I'm so angry or hurted, I know that I love her so much, more than anything and I'm just born to love this woman. She hugged me back, repeating "sorry" maybe more than ten times. I used my two fingers to raise her head and make her look at me. Her bottom lip was shaking. I know she is sorry; I know she was jealous, and she did that because she loves me so much, I can see the pure love in her pretty bluebell eyes, how could I stay angry by this angel face? I got my face closer to hers, and I pressed my lips on her pink lips. our eyes closed, my hands around her waist and her hands on my chest. We were kissing meanwhile some tears are falling from our eyes. I know we are both sorry, I know that they tried to divide us but we shouldn't give them the chance to do that, we are soulmates, we are just one and no one can live without the other. Our kiss last for at least 5 minutes full of hot tears. We had to end our kiss because we are breathless. I put my both hands on her cheeks and with my thumbs I wiped her tears and I whispered and "I love you" which make her smile

I turned her around and I hugged her from behind. I wrapped my hands around her belly, I kissed her cheek and she did the same.

Marinette (while rubbing her belly): we missed you so much

Adrien: I missed you so much too

Marinette: where have you been, where you left?

Adrien: I left to shanghai, I wanted to let you alone as you asked but I couldn't, I love you, and you are my life, I can't leave you even if I want.

Marinette: I'm really sorry, I was dumb, I had to be more mature and know that you can't do that, I had to listen to you, but promise me something

Adrien: anything you want my princess

Marinette: we should both fix our problems and we never escape them again, we should hear each other and we don't act dumb

Adrien: promise, I love you so much

Marinette: I love you too, let's go to work now, you have a mountain of paperwork

Adrien: happy time for me, wohooo. See you at lunch

Marinette: see you at lunch

She gave me a peck on my lips and she left to her office, seriously this woman drives me crazy.

I just hope, that nothing worst, will happen again
