I pat her back as I say "Millie was supposed to talk you into going with her first. Sorry about this whole scenario."
"Where are we? Why are we here? Who's Millie? And why haven't I seen you in so long? Why'd Peter leave?"
I blink as I attempt to process her questions "Slow down. Please. We're in a secure location in Budapest. You and my family are in danger. Hence why I sent Amelia or better known as Millie to get you. I've been trying to handle business. Business that guarantees our safety in situations like these. And Peter... I don't know alright?"
"Are you a mafia boss? I'm getting the vibes and I've read too many wattpad stories to actually hate this scenario if so..."
I smile at her stupid and cute response. I shake my head saying "I've missed you. And your funny anecdotes."
She pushes me saying "I can't believe you had her kidnap me!"
I wince at her shouting and I nod "I'm sorry."
She shakes her head saying "She's really strong."

Kate shrugs and I say "Alright, later then."
She nudges me saying "No. Now please."

She grabs my arm and I lead her forward as Amelia sharpens her knives. I shake my head saying "Millie."
She looks up saying "Kenzie."
Kate mutters behind me "Is she always this intimidating?"
I wack the side of Amelia's head and she groans saying "What was that for??"
I motion to Kate saying "You kidnapped my girlfriend."
Amelia says "And isn't she now safe here? Had to get her here somehow."
Kate steps forward as I push the knife down onto the table. Kate looks to Amelia as she introduces herself "I'm Kate. Pretty cool place here. I've never been to Budapest. From what I've seen it seems pretty cool."
Amelia says "Oh-"

Kate looks to me saying "What?"
I nod and Amelia says "She does that. It's annoying. But yeah. This isn't my place. It's actually widow haven here. Yelena and Kenzie own the place. Run it and make sure the widows remain safe here."

I shake my head saying "It's mostly Yelena."
I glare at Amelia and I say "Do you need anything Kate? I can do a run to the store if you need anything to keep you comfortable."
