Chapter 21

Frenemy

Season 2, episode 6

Andrea's pov:

"The what?" I ask in total confusion. His eyes widen in shock "it's Jackson" Scott mutters "okay I'm really confused here what's happening? And what the hell is a kanima?" Lydia asks "I'll take you guys home and explain everything" Allison says I just look at her then Lydia she just nods slowly. Lydia and I both head Allison's car.

We soon arrive to our house on the way there Allison starts to explain everything. She starts talking about werewolves and other stuff. If you ask me it's pretty crazy because all that stuff is just myths. She sighs and looks at Lydia and I "I need you both to promise that you guys won't say anything about what just happened." She tells us "we promise not to say anything about what just happened" I start "if you could tell us what the hell just happened" Lydia finishes "it's kind of complicated" she sighs "well how about you start with why was Derek there?" I ask
"Or wear Jackson went and what is wrong with Erica?" Lydia continues "oh do you need a minute to come up with a possible lie?" She asks Allison Allison sighs in frustration "part of the reason why I'm asking is because Scott and I aren't supposed to be seeing each other okay?" She explains "so it's better if you just keep what you know to yourself" she continues I scoff and reply "really so the whole point of you taking us home and trying to explain the whole thing is so we won't say anything about you and your little boyfriend?"

I roll my eyes "fine. We'll keep what we know about you and your boyfriend which is nothing to ourselves." Lydia says while opening the car door "hey. He's not just my boyfriend you get that right?" She asks "let us go" I say "for one just one second please try and remember..." Allison starts "remember what?!" Lydia says "remember what it feels like all those times in school when you see him standing down the hall and you cannot breathe until you're with him, or those times in class when you can't stop looking at the clock because you know he's waiting right at that door waiting for you, don't you guys remember what that's like?" She finishes Lydia and I both look at each other "no" we both answer "what do you mean 'no' you guys have had boyfriends before" she states "none like that" Lydia mutters, Lydia and I both get out if the car and walk inside in silence.

We get inside the house "did you know?" Lydia breaks the silence "know what?" I reply "the things she was lying about" she explains "what? No I had no idea I was as much in the dark as you were" I tell her "okay I'm sorry" she says "for what" "for I don't know being a bad sister" she says "hey you weren't being a bad sister okay" I tell her she just nods "they were talking about a thing called the kanima right?" I ask "yeah why" she furrows her eye brows in confusion "come on" I grab her hand and pull her to my room. Once we're in my room I turn on my computer and get on the internet, I search up 'kanima' and this lizard like creature pops us "what the hell?" I mutter. "That can't be what they're talking about right? I mean that can't exist right" she asks "I don't know I think anything at this point is possible" I reply "okay well I'm gonna go take proda out" she tells me I mutter an 'okay'.

I'm trying to find everything out about this kanima creatyre. Just then I hear something tapping on my window I look to see stiles knocking on it I sigh and go to the window unlocking it so he could clime in "what are you doing here?" I ask while turning off my computer "I just wanted to tell you about everything I've been hiding" "okay so tell me please" I say while sitting on my bed "so basically werewolves,kanimas and every mythical creatures you can think of might exist in real life" he says I blink twice to make sure I'm not dreaming "how do you know?"

"Because Scott's a werewolf and Jackson is the kanima which he is basically responsible for the murders that have been happening." He explains "wow uh that's a lot, but why didn't you just tell me?" I ask him he sighs and takes my hands in his "because I promised Scott I wouldn't say anything to anyone" he explains I nod in response"thanks for explaining everything it means a lot" I thank him he smiles in response "oh uh I gotta go" he says "oh okay is everything okay" I ask "yeah uh just I was supposed to meet Scott somewhere so I gotta run" he explains "okay well be safe" I tell him. He smiles in response, he gives me a quick kiss before going back out the window.

I wake up the next day feeling really tired so I decide that I'm not gonna go to school. So eventually I fall back asleep. I wake up to Lydia shaking me "come on get up we are gonna go see Allison" she informs me "okay" so I get on some jeans and a plain t-shirt and my convers I walk down stairs and see Lydia wait patiently "are you ready?" She asks I just nod in response. We get in the car and head to Allisons 'andrea' I hear a voice I look over at Lydia "did you say something?" I ask her "no why?" She asks "nevermind" 'andrea' I hear the voice again what the hell? "We're here" she announces. We get out of the car and go to the front door knocking it on it. "Oh hello girls" Mrs. Argent says "hi is Allison here? We need to talk to her it's pretty important" I tell her "no, she's not here right now girls but you can wait for her in her room if you'd like" she tells Lydia and I we both nod in response and head up to Allisons room.

An hour later. We are still sitting here I'm about to say we should leave when suddenly her light turns on ally gasps in surprise "you guys scared the hell out of me" she tells us "we've been waiting for you for an hour" Lydia says "I can't hang out right now guys" she says "we don't need someone to hang out with, that what we have each other for, we need someone to talk to" I explain "okay look I understand that's important right now but if it can just wait" she says "why is everyone always telling us to wait? Why can't anyone have right now available?" Lydia states "you can't have everything right now" Allie tells her "okay? You know what I need? I need someone to translate five pages of archiac latin. Obviously that's not gonna happen anytime soon" she finishes "we know archiac latin" I say "you know archiac latin?" She asks "we got board with classical Latin" we say "just how smart are you guys?" She asks "just give us the pages" I say.

Couple minutes later we translate all the Pages "it means the kanima seeks a master" I say "are you sure? Ms. Morrell said that word means 'friend' the kanima seeks a friend" she states "well she was wrong it means master" Lydia replies "the kanima seeks a master" she repeats"why? Is that important" I ask getting up Lydia plops herself on the bed "someone's controlling him" she says looking at me.
