"Y/N HURRY WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!" Guizhong yelled from outside your door. "I AM" Is all you could reply with, the bright sun piercing your vision fueled the apparent mood you found yourself in. Everyone seemed to set you off this morning, maybe is was the lack if food, not sleeping enough or you were just angry. Whatever it was you needed to get over it before you went to school.

You decided to drive yourself and Keqing to school since the others went in their own vehicles. Keqing muttered something under her breath upon seeing your car. You didn't know what it was but you hoped it was something nice.

You opened the door for her motioning her to enter as the leds in your car lit the floor of the vehicle. You couldn't help but smile at the work you put into the wiring, and everything about your Camaro. 

You walked around the back opening the driver door before you also climbed into the car. The Loud engine could be heard as it started. Keqing flinched slightly at the sound, and you couldn't tell if she liked or hated riding with you.

The vehicle was quite flashy and over the top for just driving to school but you figured you would at least get one compliment, hopefully. Keqing directed you as you drove to the campus. You turned on the radio so it wasn't such an awkward silence filling the area.

"So" Keqing started before pointing to turn, "What do you think of California?" You turned the wheel into the parking lot, "I think it's too early to state an opinion since I haven't even been here a day, but it hasn't been bad if that's what you're asking." Keqing nodded in reply before undoing her seatbelt as she felt the car move into park. "Thanks for the ride!" Keqing stated before she started to catch up with your other roommates.

You walked up to the rest of the group who greeted you warmly. "We should get going before we are late." Guizhong stated.

"Good idea." You agreed and all of you walked to the large glass entrance of the university. You hoped your first day here wouldn't be a total disaster.

Your first class was Chemistry, you weren't particularly excited for that but it should be fun at least. You walked down the hall right as the bell rung loudly overhead. You walked into class just in time to sit in your seat before the late bell rang.

"Mr. Yánwáng, please take your hood off." The professor snapped. You looked back to see a boy with teal and black hair roll his eyes. This isn't a word you usually use to describe what someone looks like but he was beautiful. Everything about him was so pretty. His style, looks, everything. If it weren't for his cynicism you probably would have tried to get to know him.

However, he is already causing trouble on the first day so that can't be a good sign. You turned your head back realizing you were staring and tried to focus on the lesson.

You could only recognize that the lesson was on atomic structure, however it was only generalized terminology since the real lecture starts next time. At least that is what Professor Gong told the class.

You decided to take general chemistry since you weren't particularly into earth sciences, and you weren't looking forward to dissections in biology so chemistry was your best option for science. The teacher seemed nice, but they were quite strict when it came to one student that you learned was named Xiao Yánwáng Dìjūn. He has two last names merged together and from your translation meant Rex Lapis. It didn't make much sense, but you guessed it was a family name.

You couldn't help but glance in his direction and you kept snapping yourself back to attention. You couldn't get a crush on the first day that would be ridiculous. That's at least what you told yourself.
