The much needed truth

Anubhav was taken inside the hospital. He was put on a stretcher. Haseena was not ready to keave his hand. Even he had held her hand tightly even in unconscious state.

Abhishek and Roshni looked at the love between them. Abhishek reluctantly forced Haseena to leave his hand so he can be taken for treatment. Haseena looked at their hands parting. She wanted to hold onto his hand but Abhishek pulled her. Anubhav was taken inside the operation theater.

AV: Ab koi kuch bhi bole me kisi ki baat nahi sun raha. Nahi dekha ja raha mujhse Noor ko ese.

R: Tum sahi keh rahe ho. Ab hum aur intezar nahi kar sakte. Me nahi dekh paa rahi Anu ka dard.

He went near Haseena.
HM: Abhi Anu...

Abhishek cupped her face. He held her hand and made her sit on the chair. He sat down on his knees. Here Roshni too sat down with him. Haseena looked at them.

AV: Noor mujhe tunhe kuch batana he.

HM: Abhi dekh jo bhi baat he baad me ye waqt nahi he kisi bhi baat ka. Is waqt keval Anubhav important he mere liye. Ha mene tujhe bola tha me unse dur chali jaungi lekin bas ek baar unhe hosh aane de. Unhe ek baar dekh ke unse kabhi nahi milungi. Is waqt please mujhe mat rokna.

AV: Me nahi rok raha hu Noor tujhe.

HM to R in a pleading tone: Roshni tum galat mat sochna. Sir humse pyaar kahi karte. Wo tumhe dhoka nahi de rahe. Wo bohot acche he. Ha hum accept karte he ki hum aaj bhi unse utna hi pyaar karte he lekin I promise me aap dono ke bich me kabhi nahi aaungi lekin please mujhe unse last baar milne dena. I know aap unki wife ho aur ese mujhe unke aas pass dekhna aapko takleef dega par hum aapke aage hath jodte he bas ek baar unse aakhri baar milne dijiyega hume.

She folded hands before Roshni. Abhishek and Roshni looked at her tears flowing through their eyes. Roshni took Haseena in a tight hug.

R: Anu aur me husband wife nahi he Haseena. Tumne galat kaha ki wo tumse pyaar nahi karta. Balki wo is duniya me sabse jyada pyaar tumse hi karta he. Me aur Anu keval best friends he tumhare aur Abhishek ke jese. Hum kon hote he tumhe rokne wale.

Hearing Roshni Haseena jerked her and broke the hug. Her face clearly showed the shock she just received. She looked at Roshni's face for any sign of lie but found truth in her eyes.

AV: Ha Noor Roshni sach keh rahi he. Anubhav aur Roshni husband wife nahi he. Ye sab ek natak tha.

Haseena looked at him shocked. Her best friend knew that her love was not married and even then he let her go through the pain of thinking that she lost him forever.
HM: Tujhe pata tha ye sab. Aur phir bhi tune mujhe nahi bataya.

Abhishek looked down.

Haseena looked at Roshni with hurt in her eyes.
HM: Kyu kiya unhone hamare sath esa. Keval hume dard dene ke liye itna bada natak kiya. Kyu tumhe unki wife bataya jabki wo jante the ki me unse kitna pyaar karti hu. Kyu?

She shouted.

Roshni was going to say something but was stopped by Abhishek.

AV: Me batata hu kyu? Noor ab me jo tujhe batane ja raha hu use tu shanti se sunna. Aur ye yaad rakhna ki is waqt tu kamzor nahi pad sakti. Anubhav ki takat tujhe banna he. Is waqt tujhe uske sath khada rehna aur tum dono ke sath sath hum sabki jindagi ki sabse badi ladai jeetni he.

HM: Abhishek sir kya chal rahe he aap batayenge hume.

Abhishek looked at her shocked and with tears. This was the first time she has called him Abhishek. It showed how much broken she was. His heart felt heavy. He could bear anything in this world but not his Noor's anger.

AV: Noor...

HM corrected him: Haseena.

Roshni felt bad for Abhishek. She saw the  wave of pain flowing through his eyes.

AV: Haseena Anubhav ne ye sab aapke liye kiya he. Wo aaj bhi aapse utna hi pyaar karte he. Unhone na aapko sagai ke time dhoka diya tha aur na hi ab.

HM: Agar wo humse pyaar karte he to kyu itna bada dhoka diya. Kyu hume har pal tut ta hua dekhkar bhi nahi bataya ki unhone shaadi nahi kari he. Kya unhe hamara dard nahi dikh raha tha? Ya humse itni nafrat jarte he wo ki itna tuta hua dekhkar bhi ye natak kiya? Aur kiya hi kyu ye natak unhone?

Roshni couldn't control anymore.

R in a loud voice: Kyuki Anu ko brain clot he. Uske bachne ke chances bohot hi kam he.

Hearing these words Haseena looked at her in horror. She stumbled back and fell into the chair. All the colours from her face faded. Her body became numb for a second. She wanted all of this to be nightmare. She didn't want any of this to be true.

HM: Tu...Tum...maj...majaa...majak kar ra..rahi ho na. Es...esa...ho hi na...nahi sakta. An..anubhav ko br..brain clot.....ye...koi...sapn..sapna he....Ha ye...ye koi bura sapna he. Ya... Ya ph... Phir ye ko...koi gan...ganda majak he.

Roshni and Abhishek looked at her teary eyed. She looked like a lifeless body. Abhishek couldn't see her like this. He looked away. Roshni went and sat near her. She held Haseena's hand.

R: Wo nahi chahta tha ki uske jane ke baad tum apni jindagi me ruk jao. Wo chahta tha ki tum move on karo kisi aur ke sath jo tabhi possible hota agar tumhe ye realise ho jata ki ab wo tumhara kabhi nahi ho sakta. Wo janta he ki agar ye baat tumhe pata chali to tum har waqt uske sath rahogi lekin jab wo nahi rahega tab tum ek jinda laash ban jaogi jese abhi ye news sun kar tum bethi ho. Har waqt uska dil tut ta tha jab tum use taane marti thi ki wo tumse pyaar nahi karta tha jabki me janti hu wo tumse kitna pyaar karta he. Esi halat me bhi usne apni health ke upar tumhe priority di. Mere kaan pak jate the lekin wo tumhari baate karte nahi thakta. Tum hi batao agar wo tumhe sach bata deta to kya tum kabhi apni life jeeti. Nahi na. Tum apne aap ko uski jagah rakh ke socho. Agar tum uski jagah hoti aur bhagwan na kare wo clot tumhare brain me hota to kya tum apne baare me sochti us waqt. Nahi na. Kyuki tum usse pyaar karti ho jese ki wo tumse pyaar karta he. Haseena me janti hu tumhe is waqt uspe gussa aa raha hoga. Mujhe bhi aata tha jab me use bolti thi ki tumhe sach bata de aur wo mana kar deta tha lekin abhi ye sahi waqt nahi he. Abhi use tumhari jarurat he.

Haseena looked towards her. Her face was expressionless and her eyes showed nothing. Even being an Agent Roshni failed to decipher what was going on inside her. While Abhishek knew just by looking at her how much big of a storm was brewing inside her. He last saw her like this when Abbu died. She didn't cry nor reacted for a whole day. The next day the doctor forced them to make Haseena cry otherwise she may slip into depression. He was the one who held her at that time but this time she was not even letting him near her. He cursed himself.

Haseena stood up and went near the door of operation theatre. She looked at Anubhav from the small window. She put her hand on the glass window and a lone tear escaped her eyes. She turned and went away from there. Roshni and Abhishek looked at each other.

R: Haseena.

AV: Rehne do Roshni. Wo wapis aayegi. Anubhav ke liye wo pakka wapis aayegi.

Roshni looked at the tears in Abhishek's eyes. She hugged him tightly. Abhishek wrapped his arms around her. Both cried their hearts out in each other's embrace.
They didn't knew but felt a strange familiarity, security with each other.
