Special thanks to @Lesyareia The art that will be featured here are all created by her. So please be sure to check out her work, she's an amazing artist and the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. In the future, I do plan to commission more character sheets but right now I'm going to be focused on the main characters. So for the time being it's just going to be just Gaara and my OC Mizu. I really do love ordering Lesyariea's artwork. She's just so amazing!!!!!!!!

At age six; Mizu and her family moved from Naha, Okinawa. Her father helped put away the head of the Tenkō Kasai, the leader of a crime syndicate that was responsible for secretly corrupting the government. Her father; Aukai Mikazuki has been given a new job as a district attorney in Tokyo, Japan. Her father believed that this would be a great opportunity for his children to gain a much better education on the mainland. Mizu was so excited to travel to the mainland. She's always eager to go on adventures. Longing to know what's beyond the horizon. This strong sense of adventure and curiosity will lead her into trouble. But the most admirable and sometimes troublesome trait of her is, her sympathetic, compassionate, and forgiving heart. Much like her father, Mizu has always had a passion for helping others. And while she respects what her father and family are doing, she believes that there is another way to help others. She soon discovers a dream to be a nurse. Growing up in a small town and sheltered by her family, Mizu's naivety has also led her into trouble. That trouble ends up being her star-crossed lover, who soon becomes the enemy of her father.

Gaara is the youngest son of one of the Four biggest Yakuza crime families in Tokyo, Japan. The Southern Red Sands is a group of gangsters that prowl the southern district. They make their profits by illegally distributing counter fit currency and gold smuggling. At a young age, Gaara was different from his older siblings. He always had a natural intensity almost bloodthirsty drive, ever since his father, Rasa, put him thru training to be a part of the family business. By age 12; his father sent him on kill missions and for a while, it didn't affect him. However; as he got older his blood lust becomes so intense that he would blindly kill anyone. This led him to receive the nickname, The Blood Red Sands. Sadly the intensity of the blood lust started to affect him mentally, he becomes distant and always angry, unapproachable. Which created a wedge between him and the rest of his family. And late at night when he's all alone, the faces of those he killed return. Haunting his dreams, leading to him developing Insomnia. Now Gaara has fully become the ultimate killing weapon for his father's golden empire. While on the outside he happily embraces his title and position in his father's gang. However deep down, he secretly longs to be something more. Something that is beyond the blood and violence. Something deeper and more real. He soon will find what he's looking for. Someone that shows him that he is more than the weapon that his father created. And once he has her, he will do anything to keep her at his side.
Alrighty, these are the leading lady and leading male characters of my Naruto Modern A.U. Yakuza story. The world is going to be our modern world. So I'm going to try to be as closely related to our world but still try to be true to the Japanese Yakuza world, without trying to "White water" it. (Even though I'm Mexican) But you guys know what I mean. And I'm also trying to stay as true to Kishimoto's characters. But also make sure that I'm not coming off as racial or stereotyping anyone. because nowadays people can mistake anything and call it racism. And that's not what my story is about or why I'm writing this story.
Again special thanks to @Lesyarei for these amazing character sheets. She's such a talented artist and the biggest sweetheart. So thank you sweetie you are THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
