"D'ah! Why is it so clean here?!?!"

Ah... that voice. Can't be mistaken for any other than "The Great Mammon" .

I continued wiping their glass decorations and I listened to his footsteps get closer.

"N-Nixie?!?"

I looked up at him and gave him a weak smile. "Hi Mammon." Not really wanting to have a conversation with him. I turned back to cleaning.

"...what are ya doing??"

"Didn't Lucifer inform you? I'm going to be cleaning here for a week..." I told him, not bothering to make eye contact.

He scoffed. "Of course I knew that!" No he doesn't. "Erm... so that's your punishment for something? That's actually worse than being hung..."

"Mhm... why are you home early?"

"I'm in charge of dinner." He said as he walked beside me. He opened the door in front. Turns out it's his room. I got a flash of an epic car sitting inside his room for some damn reason. He has a car! And it's just in his room?! I stopped him from closing the door.

"What the?!" Mammon exclaimed in surprise.

"Mammon what in the Devildom?! You got a car!!"

"Yeah I do! And why do you care about it anyway?" He tried closing the door and I fought back.

"Bruh why haven't I seen you use it?!?!" I managed to crack his door open and I bulldozed inside to get a closer look at his car.

"Oi! I did not say ya can come in!!" Mammon stomped his way towards me.

"But duuude look at your car! We should use it sometimes!"

"What do ya mean "we"?! " He held my hoodie and lifted me off the floor. He dragged me out of his room. "Tsk! Pesky human!" He slammed the door on my face. I pouted.

Then an evil smile slowly formed on my face.

"So, we just have to clean the hallways..." Akio eyed the long hallway with different doors on both sides.

"Mhm. Well, you just gotta sweep a little and I'll do the rest." I nodded as if to convince her. I gave her a toothy smile.

Akio put her hair in a bun and nodded back at me. "Alright." She said as she grabbed the sweeping brush.

I stopped her before she started though. "But seriously, thank you for coming, Akio. You seem to be the only one not doing anything after classes tonight. If you hadn't come, I'd probably finish cleaning at midnight."

"No problem, Nixie. I was curious about HOL anyway." She beamed, throwing me a gentle smile. She then started sweeping the floor.

Seriously, I appreciate this. She went straight here with me after dinner in PH. I had fetched her and accompanied her to HOL. She's so sweet. But also... My apologies. I wanted you here to see what will happen with Mammon. And speak of the devil...

Mammon finally opened his door and he was already in his daily attire. "Uh, Nixie. So how's Akio been do-"

He froze. He saw Akio there and he looked like he just saw a ghost. His color drained. Akio was looking at him surprised as well but she remained calm. Outside... I doubt it's the same inside.

I sneakily went my way the other hallway and left them there. I left them "alone" but of course I was eavesdropping. Hehheh. Start a fire then watch it burn. Or in this case, listen to it sizzle...

I was humming a tune as I was finishing up mopping the floor when Akio snuck up to me. I turned to face her. "All done. Anything else you need help with?"
