Pufferfish Poem

A fish of the sea so mysterious and deadly.
You seem cute and shy, but are not afraid to let us die.
With your big eyes and sharp vision you see all.
Nothing comes past you without you knowing.
When you feel that you are in danger, you blow up like a balloon.
When it is time for you to find a mate
you blow yourself up to call a date.
If I touch one of your spikes
you send venom into my system.
In less than an hour
I’ve lost all of my power.
Even though you are small
You can cause a great fall.
So what is it that you say?
You’re swell.
