At night, they were back at the house, at the basement
"Why didn't we think of it sooner guys? The solution to all our storage problems, simply by connecting the Bun-Vac to the Mind Manipulation-omatic, we can brainwash the bunnies" Wallace suggested
"B-B-Brainwash the bunnies?" Grace concerned
"Rabbit rehabilitation. once cured of their antisocial veg ravaging behavior, the rabbits can be safety released without fear of reoffending" Wallace said when the Mind Manipulation-omatic beginning to prepared and he strapped into it "a little added lunar power to enhance the mind waves and we can begin"
He switched the machine on
"Veg bad. Veg bad. Veg bad. Say no to carrots, cabbage and cauliflower" Wallace said as the mind waves appeared and Gromit puts his paw on his face, thinking this is stupid "well come on lad, what are you waiting for? Turn on the bun back, full suction"
Gromit switched it to suck, the machine made the bunnies float everywhere, then the mind waves sucked to the tube and appeared with the bunnies
"It's working Gromit and Grace, it's working! Their tiny bunny brains are being saturated in my veg-free mind waves" Wallace said "another 30 minutes brain washing should suffice and then we can move on to the conditioning"
When Wallace was about sit back to read a magazine, he accidentally hit his foot to the switch to blow and bunnies were being sucked up to the top of the machine. Grace gasped when she saw one bunny getting sucked into the tube and then he went in the the glass and hit Wallace's head
"AHHH!" Wallace shouted, Gromit freaked out, Grace screamed and then he started hopping like a rabbit "GROMIT, GRACE, SWITCH IT OFF"
Gromit switched the machine off but Wallace was still hopping
"GET IT OFF ME LADS" Wallace said
Grace picked up the monkey wrench, she went on the chair waiting for Wallace to hop closer to her, as he got closer, she hit the glass head with the monkey wrench, the glass head was shattered and the mind waves were everywhere till it disappeared
"Oh thanks, lass" Wallace said and then he get the rabbit off his head "quick give us a carrot"
Grace gives him a carrot, Wallace shows the rabbit the carrot, the rabbit sniffed it and did a disgusting face
"Ah, it worked" Wallace surprised, then he took the rabbit to his's cage "a reformed rabbit, we'll call him Hutch, shall we? Come on, let's get the kettle on, we'll see to him in the morning"
As Wallace and Gromit went upstairs, Grace looks at Hutch and she sees him flinching making her a little concerned, so she went upstairs to catch up with the others
"Oh I feel we're on the cusp of a breakthrough lads" Wallace said as he put alarm eyeballs on the wall "mankind freed from rabbit problems forever"
Gromit rolled his eyes as he put a tea bag into the tea pot
Then Wallace put a framed picture of Lady Tottington with eye holes on the wall and he said "Lady Tottington will be impressed" and he cleans it
A while later, Gromit was at the greenhouse checking his giant marrow while Wallace and Grace were at the living room
Wallace was on his chair reading a story to Grace while she was on his lap, he noticed that she fell asleep and he smiled at her
"Awe, come now lass" Wallace said as he puts the book away, picks her up, held her against his shoulder, got out of the chair and carrying her upstairs "let's get you to bed"
Then Gromit came inside and turned off the light
"Goodnight Gromit, sweet dreams old chum" Wallace said as he went in Grace's room to put her to bed
