9 year old Messiah Kavari Scott sat on his porch with his bestfriend Za'Kir.

"Siah lets go to the park, my mama said I could"

"My mama said I had to stay on the porch" Siah mumbled under his breath as he looked down sadly

"She not looking cmon' "

Siah took one last glance at his house before he ran off with Za'Kir to the park.

The little boys both immediately ran towards the swings, Za'Kir telling Siah to push him. All smiles and giggles.

2 gunshots went off and the boys snapped their heads towards where they were coming from, immediately running.

Unknowingly, Za'Kirs shoelace was untied causing him to trip just as the little boys were on the way home.

" Cmon' Kir, we gotta go! "

Siah ran to help his friend which slowed down their time to get home. The two boys began to run back home again

Messiah looking back one last time, making eye contact with one of the shooters.

Running into the house, Messiah and Za'Kir shut the door.

Siah looking back one more time, seeing that same face.
