"No girl we go to Medgar College." Brianna said before I raised my eyebrows

"Let me guess, that's where the kickback is?" I said before The smiled.

I had on a basic white cami top,some light washed ripped jeans, with a flannel and dunks

"Yo ass gon freeze trying to be grown." Mani mumbled

"You acting like I got my ass out." I said before he put his hands up in surrender

"Look, I got somewhere to be later, so I'll chill with you for a while and then I'll be back to take you back home." Mani explained

"Do not, ride home with anybody else Saige deadass." He said as we got in the car

"Got you dad." I said before he smacked his teeth

"What this lil Nigga doing at college kickbacks anyways ?" Mani asked and I shrugged

"The girls seemed cool though, so I didn't even ask." I said. He looked like he wanted to say something but didn't, so I didn't force it out of him

Once we got to the frat house we heard the music blasting and it already sounded turnt. We went inside and it was damn near dark as everyone continued to turn up

Mani pointed to the kitchen and I nodded before he walked off and I continued to look for Tye. I eventually found him with a cup in his hand and he gave my a side hug

"Where Mani go?" He asked

"He's getting food, but this is not no damn kickback." I said before he laughed

"This is where the family is at, let me introduce you to dive people." He smiled before holding my hand as we broke through the crowd.

We talked to a few people and everyone was surprisingly so genuine and chill. Meeting New Yorkers usually comes with a slight attitude and bad vibe, but it wasn't that at all.

As we were chilling with Imani and Brianna, my brother came over before clearing his throat.

"Aye let me wrap with you real quick Tye." He told him and Tye nodded before they stepped outside

"Who is that ?" Brianna pointed before I furrowed my eyebrows

"My brother, and before you think about he he's emotionless as hell so I wouldn't even try it." I said before we all laughed.

"What's the tea on you and Tye?" Imani asked before I raised my eyebrows

"Childhood besties that's just trying to figure each other out all over again." I said

"Shit the way y'all be staring at each other makes it look like y'all already got each other figured out." Imani said before I laughed

"You want a drink ?" She asked before I declined

"I'm on a break." I said before she sighed

After a while "Dreams and Nightmares" by Meek came on and I immediately cheesed because this was my shit.

We all sing verse for verse and immediately turnt up once the beat drop. Imani started hyping me and Bre up as we both threw ass together and everyone else for hype with us.

Once Tye and Mani came back in, Mani pulled me back up before lightly laughing and shaking his head

"I'm getting ready to head out, but I'll be back in a hour and a half." He said before hugging me and I nodded before he left

For the rest of the night we continued meeting new people and we enjoyed the rest of the night.
