vermillion sunrise

Here I find myself sitting
never on my knees yet I bow
broken strings now I'm fixing
As I hum the melody I knew somehow

that serenade you once sang
on a moonlight when shadows meet
back before i bared my fangs
to when i still walked that street

it's the same place
where i asked for fallen grace
a desperate wish i blew upon a dandelion
as plumes fell into the gridiron

And come what may
that bright vermillion
lights in a beautiful array
of one chance in a billion

I have been lurking in my cold den
a thousand years for just a glimpse
and hold my breath until comes ten
and cross over blitz an eclipse

i need not to consult the stars
my own hands have ended the fates
although i always had the cards
but I always move too late

i had sincerely wanted to earn
and fix the gap of the bridge I burnt
re echo the good lessons I learned
a warm embrace of a heart once taciturn

but i know i'm just holding on remnants
and pieces i can never place back
it hangs without a melody, my descant
illumines the memories that turned black.
