"The sunset is wonderful, isn't it?" was the inspiration for the title Orange.
The hues of the sunset are varied, and orange is one of them. Orange represents both happiness and peril.
Only four chapters are included in the book. The number four is pronounced similarly to death in China and Japan.
Baji Keisuke died at the age of 17 in the fourth chapter, just a few days before his birthday, November 3rd when he and Y/N were set to start dating.
