KOTLC Matchmaking Sleepover

Chapter 1

No one P.O.V.

Sophie Foster was laying on her bed after just waking up. She was so glad. She finally got to sleep in. Sophie remembered her Foxfire graduation, a few days ago.

~~~Flashback~~~

Sophie stepped off the stage and went to her friends and parents. She was immediately hugged by Biana, Dex, Linh, and Keefe. When she finally got away from them, laughing, she shook hands with Wylie, Glimmer, and Tam. Glimmer had finally taken down her hood and had been allowed to attend Foxfire. She still lived with Tam and Linh in Tiergans's place. She had long, silky, wavy jet black hair that went all the way down to her waist and was usually braided or in a high ponytail. Her skin was very pale, but not in a sick-looking way. Her eyes were a startling grey-ish blue. She was a little shorter than Tam, about Linh's height. When we all first saw her, we were all surprised except Tam, who saw her about a month before we did. They were getting really close... She turned and looked at Fitz. They looked at each other for a second before Fitz hugged her. He transmitted to her about how amazing she was and how good she looked tonight. Sophie remembered blushing and hugging him for about 3 minutes. They jumped apart when Glimmer said,

"So, this happens a lot, huh? They hug each other for like five minutes? Are they dating?"

"Yeah, happens all the time. According to them, they're not dating." Tam replied.

"Yet," Biana muttered under breath to Dex, who nodded in agreement. Then, her parents, Della and Alden, and Tiergan had come over to them. They congratulated everyone that had graduated (everyone except Fitz, Wylie, and Keefe). They all headed to Everglen to celebrate and have a dinner Della had prepared with Edaline. After the dinner, Biana had asked if they could have a sleepover at Everglen. Everyone agreed, even Grady after a lot of convincing. So Sophie, Dex, Wylie, Linh, Tam, Glimmer, Marella, and Keefe would come to Everglen in the morning and spend the day together and then sleep there as well.

Sophie snapped out of her memories. Oh shoot, that's today! She jumped out of bed and got ready. She wore black leggings with a simple red tunic. She then went to Vertina and asked for help with her hair.

"AHH!" Vertina shrieked.

"What? What is it?" Sophie asked.

"Your hair! I-it's horrible!" Vertina stated. Rude. But sadly, Vertina had a point. It looked like a blond peacock on her head. Vertina guided Sophie through a bun, and after 30 minutes, it looked really good! It was a waterfall braid into a twisty bun.12343

Sophie was about to head downstairs when Biana called her. Sophie grabbed her imparter, sat on her bed, and answered Biana's call.

"SOPHIE ELIZABETH FOSTER!" Biana shouted.

"Yeah?" Sophie asked.

"Did you forget that today is the sleepover day?" Biana accused.

"What, no, I didn't forget. I'm heading over right now." Sophie said.

"Good. I'll see you soon!" Biana happily chirped before hanging up. Sophie headed down and greeted Edaline and Grady and told them she was heading over to Everglen for the sleepover.

"Okay sweetie, have fun!" Edaline said, pecking her cheek.

"Have fun, kiddo, but don't get into any trouble!" Grady warned.

"Daaad," Sophie dragged before laughing. She looked at the time and realized Biana was probably fuming.

"I have to go, love you! I'll see you guys tomorrow!" They hugged and kissed, then Sophie grabbed her bag of stuff by the Leapmaster and shouted, "EVERGLEN!"
