I'm in the city we're never going to build
empty walls empty spaces
In the tallest of buildings
the absence of light is darknessI sit here in the center to gaze upon the stars
But the pattern is a maze and I wonder where you are
Perhaps you are lost in the sea of Tranquility

where it's supposed to bloom
I should be hearing the birds sing
But the flowers are not here you seeSo our promises to each other are sealed in this place
Now I am left here all alone to stay
And guard the city we're never going to build
