A/N: Tangent but I kind of think that both Dazai and Chuuya would have no concept of being brash or out of the norm. They both would just be complete misfits but nobody cares cus like, their the top of the PM yk?
-Dazai-
Should he tell Chuuya? What's the point, it wouldn't accomplish anything. Chuuya doesn't want Dazai in his life.
Dazai grinned at Chuuya, he smiled back. A genuine smile that took Dazai aback. He was so worried he forgot to keep up the act.
Dazai walked out to the river and leaned over the railings. "Don't you see how beautiful this river is?"
"Almost as beautiful as you mi'lady"
Chuuya winked and Dazai swooned. "Why you flirt, it's disgraceful to woo such a charméd lady as myself" Dazai became frustrated at his reaction to the compliment. He turned towards Chuuya. Their eyes met, and swiftly turned to the river.
Time to see how far the charade will go.
-Chuuya-
Excitedly, he knew Dazai would have to give up the game to engage. Adrenaline coursed through his body as he lept across the boardwalk, and lept across the river. He loved the mobility his ability gave him. He kicked the gun out of the lone assasins hand, and patted him down for all the weapons he held. He picked him up and brought him across the river. The game was on. Small wonder, Dazai put out a hit on himself. Suicidal freak made this fun.
He threw the man before Dazai. "Your Highness, what shall I dispose of this traitor?" Dazai frowned in the demure fashion, certainly changed from his usual over-reaching comedy.
"Sir Chuuya, you know i'm no fan of pain, don't let him suffer."
Chuuya frowned but nodded. He took out a gun and shot the man through the head. Dazai made a noise of disgust and started walking away from his assailant. Following, Chuuya was restless and looked around vigilantly for another assailant. It must have been cheap if they've only seen 1 guy so far.
-Dazai-
The urge to laugh was growing stronger and stronger, but he couldn't break the act now. Wonder which of the gutsy desperate kids was going to come at them. Too bad for them. He looked around the street excitedly. He decided that if they were going to have fun they might as well get costumes.
"Sir Chuuya, follow me!" Dazai commanded as if he weren't already tied at the hip. He turned a left into a shop with rows of puffy dresses. Chuuya looked concerned. Costume shops meant this would last as long as possible. Chuuya grabbed a set of clean and simple armor. The lengths Dazai went for some of these amazed Chuuya. What frustrated him the most is that he would have to take off his hat. Dazai found a blue dress and rushed to try it on. Chuuya took this as his cue to find him the rest of the costume he forgot about. He picked out a crown and a corset, threw them into the room and they landed on Dazai's head.
"Sir Chuuya, you almost hit me!"
"Pardon me your highness"
The clerk laughed at them and started tallying the costumes. It seems like the costumes in the shop were hand-made, Dazai heard Chuuyas voice from the other room and allowed himself to revel in Chuuya's magneticism. His voice sounded like music. Dazai always hated the weakness that came from his obsessions.
-Chuuya-
The costumes we're amazing, he was glad that Dazai had started to develop a sense of color. He got flashbacks to the time he chose a bright majenta costume for one of their games and shuddered. The tasteful blue he wore would make him look pretty.
"Do you know of a blacksmith? Somewhere with cool swords?"
He described the place, it was only about 12 blocks away. Chuuya ran out on top of cars and rushed to the store. He looked around for a cool sword, all knights had their swords, what pride could you maintain without your own?
Chuuya started looking around for swords and found a smaller one he could use. He bought it and thought of his collection of odd weapons from these. He had a closet for the sole purpose of his weapons. He bought the sword and ran back to the costume shop.
-Dazai-
How dare Chuuya ditch him! He was the princess! He sat down in the satisfyingly puffy dress and pouted on the bench. It was no fair that he was left like this. He noticed a ruffling in the clothing behind him and yelled "Chuuya help!" keeping the act while assessing the new challenger. He felt he could dodge him until he came back. Managing to keep his dainty demeanor he exits the store onto the street.
"Don't be rude! Don't you respect craftsmen?" Dazai scoffed at the hitman.
He had terrible aim. It was no wonder Dazai was able to avoid him. He was worried for the dress though. He noticed Chuuya and yelled "Help me!". Chuuya ran over and kicked the pistol out of his hand. Dazai sighed with relief "I can't believe the time I needed you most you left!" Chuuya disarmed and tied the mans hands behind him.
"Mi'lady, what is your will?"
Dazai looked over the man, circling around him.
"Cruel traitor, I have found it in my will to show mercy. If you surrender your will to the Port Mafia your life will be spared."
Chuuya looked away from the man, pitifully. Dazai was a masterful manipulator. Despite his choice to join the mafia, he would've been forced to join if it wasn't. The choice to join is looking good for this man.
"I... I will join the Port Mafia."
-Chuuya-
Dazai was on call with somebody to take this man. He dragged him to the entrance of the shop and went inside to give the company compensation for their troubles. He placed a check on the counter and tipped the clerk handsomely. The clerk sighed. Chuuya walked out with his head bowed.
Dazai was busy antagonizing the prisoner.
"Mi'lady, do you not think it wise to leave him here?"
"Sir Chuuya! He has such interesting responses!"
The man was trying his best to stay respectful, he seemed furious and insulted. It did not help his case that Dazai was able to avoid him handicapped.
"Your Highness, we should be off."
Dazai put in tremendous efforts to display his disappointment. Dazai took a photo of the man and then started walking out. He spun around slowly in the dress. He did look beautiful, his hair seemed soft, he smiled at Chuuya while talking, he enraptured Chuuya.
