night was falling, though it was rather early in the evening. the train was rumbling as the rails guided it to it's destination.

it had stopped to get new passengers at the station, and the platform was as grey as the sky. grey platform, dull colors and cloudy sky.

a bright red umbrella stood out against the monotone station, and the woman holding it slid into the compartment, thoroughly drenched from the rain.

and even though the shadows obscured your face, i knew it was you. those eyes i loved with so much hate, even after ten months, were unmistakable.

i thought i had moved on, so why did my heart hurt when i saw you? i remembered what you said about impacts of people on our life.

the emotions and memories seem to recur every time you see a person; but they are no longer or never were the one you're thinking of in your head.

every moment will replay until you're back at square one: misery.
