The next day after the Banquet/Ball you decided to take a stroll at the garden, "Alina there's no need to escort me, please have a rest and do as you wish for this day" You say as you look with a worried expression at your lady in waiting who received a letter about their sick family member

Alina hesitates but nonetheless thanks you as she excuses themselves to take their leave, Thinking you'll have some time to think about the events last night you continue to walk pass a flower bed of roses

Passing the roses without a second glance at them, The figure who noticed you just outside their office windows couldn't help but frown that you had not spared a second glance at the roses they had prepared for you

Quickly getting bored of only seeing different colors of roses and not (F/f) you turn to leave the garden until you feel someone tackle you from behind, lucky you two had not fallen, Denzelle cheerfully smiles at your surprised expression, "Lady (Y/n)! How have you been?" She asked cheerfully

You look at her and smile "I'm surprisingly doing fine, thank you for asking Lady Denzelle, how was yours?" The pink haired woman speeds up her pace and walks by your side still wearing a cheerful smile. She clinged her arm with yours

"You know Lady (Y/N), I have no I'll intentions towards you at all and of course the same can be said for my sisters" Denzelle said with a soft smile. You doubt that they weren't instructed to help you at the ball/banquet yesterday, After all the new Empress was well respected among the commoners and quite known among the nobles

Many may have held a grudge against the New Empress, And wish to gain your companionship to help you gain the seat as Empress. After all Rashta did make many enemies along the way, From your dearest friend Kosair to the Grand Duke Kaufman. There will always be those who see the true colors of the Empress

You're quite glad that Kosair had helped you make yourself fit in within the nobles or else you would've fallen for the Empresses foolish trickery to everyone in the Empire. So naturally you weren't affected by the Empress and her tricks

You look at Denzelle for a moment before looking back at the flower bed of (F/f) "is that so? Then I guess I'll have to thank whoever you're working with for that" You say with a calm smile whilst looking at Denzelle's shocked expression

Denzelle was about to speak when an unfamiliar voice pitched in to your conversation

This originally had an art showing the MC (You/your oc) and denzelle walking at the garden together, that's why it took me long to publish this but then I didn't like how it looked and gave up on drawing it and just wrote, sorry this took long
