Yeonjun had to admit he was impressed the girl had so much strength and he even let out a laugh as the girl grabbed the man by the collar and punched him a few times.

"That's not funny." Soobin scolded the older man, he maybe a little older but Soobin was the leader of their unit, he had to keep them in line as to not let innocent people get hurt.

"Well, he shouldn't have messed with her." Yeonjun just shrugged and sat back, he really didn't see why they wanted to show him the video and why they were all acting so mad. She punched a guy that she clearly didn't want around, where's the harm?

"The problem is this." Kai pulled up another video that was set in a hallway of what must be an apartment building.

Yeonjun watched as the girl entered an apartment and then came back out, the only thing that caught his eye was how she seemed to be walking more stiffly compared to when she entered the apartment not even a few minutes ago.

"You see? She's walking as if she was being controlled, you know we see that in a lot of possession cases." Soobin said as his eyes left the screen and met Yeonjun's.

"You think she's been possessed? Okay, we go and kill her when she tries to kill someone, that's protocol." Yeonjun didn't feel bothered by what was going on, what was another death on his hands?

"No, I don't think she's possessed exactly. She came back to life, what if her soul gathered fragments of the demons energy that she was meant to be sacrificed too?" Beomgyu said after being quiet the whole time.

"What makes you think that?" Yeonjun has never heard of anything like this before, but he has also never seen anyone come back to life.

"I had a talk with Andromalius, he mentioned a case like this from 600 years ago. The man gathered fragments of Ayperos' power, he was going to be sacrificed to him for his villages gain. The ritual went wrong when the man's friend killed all of the village elders that were preforming the sacrifice, the man came back and slowly went crazy as Ayperos powers started flaring up.

The man couldn't handle seeing the past, present, and future of the people around him, he revealed many secrets and when he saw that the very friend that saved him planned to kill him, he lost it and killed everyone in his village." Beomgyu rambled on about what had happened to the man after all of that. In the end the man took his own life and his soul was consumed by Ayerpos.

"So, she's going to slowly go crazy and start killing people, like mass murder? Should be fun to watch." It had been a while since Yeonjun had seen a human commit mass murder right infront of him, he was the one killing many at once.

"Yeonjun, you know Dumah will not stand for this." Huening Kai said while rubbing his forehead.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll keep an eye on her." Yeonjun finally submits to what the rest of them want.

They all sigh in relief at his words, they could easily intervene with the girl themselves, but Yeonjun held the most knowledge about demons and was able to detect a demons powers more accurately.

*~*

I hang up the phone after explaining to Shea that I was still neck deep in "work" for the weekend as my excuse for not going out with her again, if I told her the truth as to why I didn't want to leave the house she would think I was taking drugs.

At this point I think I would rather be taking drugs instead of whatever was going on with me.

I stare at my lock screen before I swipe it up and go for my local delivery app, some food sounded good. I wasn't really hungry, but food was always a good choice when I felt stressed or overwhelmed.

I push myself to my feet after I had ordered my food, I head off to my room to change from my pajamas into sweat pants and a hoodie. I take a glance at myself in the mirror that stood across the room from my dresser, I give my reflection a shrug, not really caring that I looked like a homeless person.

As I wait for my food I walk around just doing a little cleaning here and there as needed, my mind not really focusing on the task my hands were doing.

I pause what I was doing when I hear what sounded like yelling in the hallway outside of my apartment, I wasn't usually a nosey person, but with everything that has been going on in my mind I felt paranoid. What if the building was on fire? Or if someone was getting robbed or hurt?

Despite my mind telling me to keep my nose where it belonged, I rush to the door, unlocking the dead bolt and pulling it open. I stick my head out looking to the left, when I see nothing I turn to the right and see two people.

Their demeanors seemed calm, but their voices sounded loud, even louder now that I had the door open.

It seems they were just talking about their dog going to the groomer today, nothing close to fighting, but why were they being so loud?

I shake my head and shut my door back, maybe they were just loud talkers, who knew.

Soon after those peoples voices finally faded out I hear someone walking outside, their footsteps sounding as if they were stomping their way down the hall.

I cover my ears as more people started yelling in the hallway, all the noise outside my apartment was starting to become to much as I took a few deep breaths trying to calm myself.

You're acting like a crazy person, calm down.

I was trying, but it wasn't working. My breathing started to become more frantic as if I had just ran a mile. I knew I was about to throw myself into a panic attack if I didn't stop.

My finger nails dig into my scalp behind my ears as I try to talk myself down, repeating in my head the same ten numbers to try and have something to focus on.

Deep breath in through your nose... hold... and out through your mouth...

I repeat that a few times before I start to calm down. My chests rising and falling begins to slow and become more even, the pulse in my ears fades until it's gone completely.

I remove my hands only to slap them back onto the sides of my head when someone knocks on my door.

I open my eyes when I remember I had ordered food. Standing to my feet I rush to the door trying to block everything out besides the thought of my milkshake that was waiting on me.

I open my door not worrying to check the peep hole because I was to focused on not paying attention to the outside world.

"Evelyn Wilson?" The delivery man asked, his head was bowed as he looked over the receipt the ball cap on his head blocking his face from my view.

"That's me." I lock my eyes on the bag trying not to look up as he did, I did not want to make awkward eye contact. I reach for the bag when he holds it out for me and as I reach for it I finally look up to thank him properly.

My hand freezes an inch away from the bags handle as my mind goes reeling.
