"Ew that looks like it has been collecting dust for hundreds of years," Delilah said looking at the casket as she coughed at the massive dust cloud that formed when Rebekah used a cloth to dust it. "Probably because it has" Rebekah replied "That's my coffin" She frowned "The last time it was used was several years before you were born...Klaus was a different man back then." Rebekah reminisced

"How do you mean?" Delilah asked as she started gathering all of the dark objects and placing them in a box. "Your father used to have his fun by daggering his siblings and leaving us in these here caskets for centuries." Rebekah motioned to the other two that were there.

"Damn...that's cold." Delilah muttered, "He was a monster wasn't he?" Delilah whispered as she looked around the basement

Rebekah sighed before dusting off the chair and taking a seat on it. Delilah took a seat on the stairs

"Nik has had his fair share of moments where I questioned that same thing but I have come to now see that some of the things he did he did it for his family," Rebekah said

"He has changed Delilah. I know that's hard to believe but it took a lot of growth mentally to realize that our father or mother can't hurt us anymore. Nik's ways of dealing with everything were a product of our parents. Mikael was an absolute menace and always picked on Nik because he was different. He abused Nik physically and emotionally every day of his life and didn't stop at anything to make sure Nik wasn't happy."
Rebekah sighed

Delilah nodded taking in her Aunt's words

"Now chop-chop! We still have one more shelf to sort through and then after we can go get a milkshake." Rebekah smiled before standing up.

"I do not think I've ever sweated this much before." Delilah let out an exhaustive sigh before plopping down on the sofa in the living of the Mikaelson Mansion

"It's called hard work, D" Kol's voice rang out as he took a seat beside her "Yeah I know you should try it sometime" Rebekah snickered at Delilah's comment

"Where's your father at?" Kol asked, "Do I look like his keeper?" Delilah replied "But if I had to guess he is probably up at the school trying to hunt down Oliver so he can murder him."

And Delilah was right...well almost Murder wasn't on Klaus's mind but having a stern talk with Oliver most definitely was.

"I just want to talk" Klaus expressed to Alaric. "No bad intentions here." Klaus held his hands up in surrender

"No, Klaus. I cannot allow that" Alaric frowned

Klaus rolled his eyes feeling annoyed "I understand how you're feeling...I have two daughters ya know? When Lizzie had her first kiss I wanted nothing more than to strangle the boy who kissed her because she is my little girl but then I realized she is growing up and I can't try to hurt every boy she talks to" Alaric sighed patting Klaus's shoulder

"Whatever," Klaus said

"Oh and by the way tell Delilah she has an appointment with Daphne coming up," Alaric said loudly as Klaus walked away.

Across town, at The Mystic Falls Grille Rebekah, Delilah, and Kol all took a seat in a booth scanning over the menu.

"Have you ever tried dipping your french fries into your milkshake?" Delilah asked Kol
"I don't think I've ever tried a milkshake to be honest with you," Kol said not looking up from the menu
