Chapter 3: Repentance

Continuing from the previous part...

Bondita (loudly) : Mein dungi Agneepareeksha par ek shart par....agar aapme se koi bhi apni patnivrata sabit kare....siddh kare ki apni patni ko chod kar kabhi kisi parayi stree ko nahi dekha...BOLIYE MANZOOR HAI.... SABIT KARENGE APNI PATNIVRATA.......

---------Scene Changes-----------

(At that Man's home, Batuk starts gaining conciousness.)

Batuk (being heavily drunk) : Ahh..😣.(massaging his forehead with fingers)...Why this daamn head is aching?...Itna sar mein dard kyu ho rha hai...😣. (Looking around) Aur mein yahan kya kar raha hu...where the hell I am ?😳🙄

( When he tries to get up, he hears some noises outside. As that Man's home was near Roy Chowdhary's Haveli so he hears Bondita's voice as well)

Batuk (talking to self😡) : Now what the bloody hell Bondita is upto ....konsa naya drama shuru kar diya yeh Bondita ne.

( He goes outside to see what's happening. Hiding behind the wall ,he tries to hear the conversations )

------ At Roy Chowdhary Haveli ------

( Hearing Bondita's tarq, that man and other people with him go mum. That man thinks about escaping the trap)

The man ( in mind) : Ab kya karu...yeh Barrister Babu Bondita ne toh muje hi fasa diya...Kya karu mein ab isse nikalne ke liye...

Bondita (Again in loud voice) : Boliye !!...Manzoor hai meri shart...denge apne patnivrata hone ka saboot.

(That Man gulps in fear but starts to speak)

The man ( stammering ) : H..hu..m kyu..n dein Agneepareeksha. Sawaal aapki pavitrata saabit karne ka hai ...naa ( stammering ) ki humari.

( Before Bondita could speak, Kaka speaks up )

Kaka (loudly) : Kyuuuu....shaadi toh pati patni dono ki hi hoti hai na...toh pareeksha sirf patni ke hi hisse kyuuun.

( Hearing this, Bondita and Anirudh's eyes get tears of happiness 🥺🥺and satisfaction 😇that their Kaka has now wholeheartedly accepted the Badlaav, the change which they struggled to bring in society's mentality in all these years is now gradually becoming reality).

Other Man from the crowd ( irritatingly) : Trilochan Zamindaar Babu ....yeh aap sahi nahi kar rhe hain ....Aap sadiyo se chali aarhi paramparaon ko bhang kar rhe hain ...aapse aisi umeed nahi thi..hume.

Kaka (with proud voice) : Gita mein Shri Krishna ne kaha hai Badlaav hi Prakrati ka niyam hai  aur hum bhi Shri Krishna ke vichaaro ka paalan kar rahe hain..... Jis prakar thera hua paani  upyog ke layak nahi hota... use samay samay par badalna padta hai .. usi prakar samay ke saath paramparaon mein bhi badlaav jaruri hai....Kahiye agar hum galat hain toh....

Anirudh ( with pride👏) : Khub bhalo Kaka khub bhalo....muje ...muje garv hai aap par ....aakhirkar aapko Badlaav ki ahemiat samajh aagyi.....

Kaka ( with moist eyes🥲) : Haan Anirudh ...thodi der lagi par woh kehte hain na...der aaye par durust aaye.

( Gradually all of the men except that conspirator starts agreeing with Kaka and starts to support him)

Other men : Ji..Trilochan zamindaar babu...sahi keh rhe hain aap...Bondita Malkin hume maaf kar dijiye ....humse boht badi galti ho gayii....jo humne aapke charitra par ungli uthayi...jab aapke pati ko aap par vishwas hai toh sawaal uthane wale hum kon hote hain...

The Man : Areee...aise kaise....yeh toh sarasar ananya hai ....galat hai ...pakshpat hai....ab apni bahu par baat aayi toh....Trilochan Babu....aaap ( before he completes Bondita shouts!!)
