Youth is precious
But when something is precious, it should not be at waste
But as we grow we are told 'make haste'
When we are told to enjoy what we have left
What forces children to grow up makes relationships cleft
Youth is precious
But then why is it stripped from us
If it should not be wasted,
Why do people always make it a fuss? 'You don't do anything around here'
'When I was your age I was already working'
Adulthood is always lurking
But youth is precious
But then why are children questioned when they are ambitious?
