Finding time
Prologue: How time flies.
The exit from a stasis pod was always rough- she had heard the stories- but never had the chance to experience it first hand, until now. Exiting from the pod she looked around, what had been city scape only a moment before, was now dense jungle. Why she was here she could not remember, a note carved into the flowing metal reminded her that this was normal after spending long periods of time in stasis. A loud rap on the blueish-green metal returned her to the task at hand. Pulling the supplies out of the second pod, she was happy to find the items inside undamaged- storage pods were unreliable at the best of times- a note carved into the side of the pod triggering a memory of rotten food falling out of a pod, while a small child watched in dismay. Had that been her, or had she been the one watching the scene unfold, when? She could not remember.
