~Shoto~

God, I miss Yaoyorozu.

I told Father I wouldn't be seeing her anymore.

He said, "Good. Now, maybe, you'll have your head in the game when training. I noticed you're slow, Shoto."

In that moment, I had a strong urge to punch his face in. Maybe I should have went for it.

"Hey, Shoto."

"Natsuo."

Note: Just know, in the show, Natsuo and Shoto don't nearly talk this much but it works for my story.

"You seem more down than usual. And you're hard to read and a little dense, so I know something's up. So tell me."

Everyone's been saying I'm dense lately.

"I told my friend Yaoyorozu that we should discontinue our friendship. Our classmates have been teasing us and it makes me think I am doing something wrong. I have not had many friends and I don't know where I'm being friendly and when I'm crossing a line."

"Oh, I see." Natsuo strokes his chin. "Is-- Is Yaoyorozu a girl?"

"Why does everyone keep asking me that?" I complain, though only Father has asked before.

"They're not... is it a guy, Shoto?"

"What?! No!" My knee-jerk response is louder than I expected. "No... Yaoyorozu Momo is a girl."

"Just making sure, Father would not be pleased."

"Who cares if he's pleased. If I was gay, I wouldn't give a damn what he thinks. And I'm not straight because he wants me to be, either."

"Did you all get into it today?"

"He's glad that Yaoyorozu's not around anymore," I cross my arms.

"Of course he is." Natsuo's face turns sour and he looks to the side for a bit before looking back at me.

"You know what I think?" Natsuo asks.

"Hmm?"

"If Yaoyorozu didn't say she doesn't wanna be friends with you, then I don't think you're doing anything to make her uncomfortable."

~Momo~

I am so uncomfortable right now.

And between us, I hate my mother. She's making me do yoga and right now I'm in something she's calling the canoe pose.

I don't think clenching my stomach like this is good while I'm on my period, but I doubt my mother cares

She says, "Whatever happened to that Todoroki boy? You told me you two were friends."
