Crissy

I told myself many times that I shouldn't make a decision I'll regret at the end. But letting him go was the biggest mistake I made. Our memories kept haunting me. It felt like a big slap on my ego, yet I needed to kiss it until I won't feel a thing.

I dropped my phone on my lap after I saw the lastest instagram post from Lanna, as I let my tears dropped on my face. He used to tell me that I'm only beautiful girl on his eyes, but seeing him this so happy with another girl is like a dagger was being stabbed on my chest.

"Miss," a baritone said.

I immediately stood up without facing the man behind me. I silently wiped my tears.

"Feeling ko na-lock na tayo sa library. Wala na ring tao dito," he added.

I decided to face him after hearing him said it. I don't know who got surprise first, but our eyes slightly widened.

"Ikaw pala. Bakit nandito ka sa pinakasulok nagtatago? Teka, nakakaintindi ka ba ng tagalog?" he smiled weakly.

"O-oo naman," I nodded my head.

I stared the man in front of me. His jet black hair slightly disheveled, but that actually makes him cool. He got a thick brows, a pointed nose, and a natural red lips. I blinked my eyes when I saw how his lips lifter in the corner of his mouth.

I didn't realized I stared at him too long! He caught my gaze, and now suddenly trapped on his obsidian eyes.

"Don't stare at me too much. Nakaka-in love pa naman ako kapag titigan," he said casually.

I was too stunned to speak. Medyo makapal ang mukha niya when he said it, but somehow di ko naman naf-feel na mayabang yun the way pagkasabi niya. Para bang normal lamang yun mangyari kung may mai-in love man sa kanya.

I felt my eyes moistened as I stared at him. His eyes widened a bit when he saw me about to cry again. I'm too sad to understand his reaction.

From all those heavy thoughts and a broken heart, na-realized ko na masyado pala akong malungkot at nag-iisa.

"If I fall in love with you, can you catch me, Zike?"
