My day was stunning.
I was lying on my bed, creating magic on procreate after a long time taken by study and exams. I had my headphones on and Lauv was really giving me the vibe I needed in the moment.
I didn't notice when Lizzy came in until she tapped my shoulder.
"Hey blue eyes." I removed my headphones. She was holding a box of donuts in her hand and instantly I knew what was coming next. Before she could plead her case I said, "No!"
"But Chris you haven't even heard my story yet." She pouted.
"I don't need to because I know where it's headed." I made a face.
"But I got you this box of your favorite donuts." She gave the puppy eyes.
"Thanks. I'm on diet. I need to lose a few pounds." I turned away. Those eyes were very effective.
"Since does your skinny arse diet." She laughed.
"Since now that someone is trying to bribe me to do who knows what." I said. "I'm not doing it."
"You don't even know what it is?" She threw her hands in the air dramatically.
"Well pray tell what it is, my dear." I pitched my voice and added an accent.
"Tim is taking me to his lake house in Devon-"
"Cut! What does your little trip have to do with me?" I bat my eyelashes.
"I.. I need you to be there, Chris. To watch out for me. Have my back like you always do." She smiled.
"I always have your back girl but I still don't understand where I fit in your picture unless you want me to third wheel." I raised an eyebrow.
"You won't. He has three other friends with him. Jacob is coming with his girlfriend, Lewis too and Bennett is.. you know, single." She tried to explain.
"Not interested." I yawned. I got up from my bed and threw a sweater on.
"Where are you going?" She asked. I laughed, "Well to buy me some snacks to binge on tonight."
"No. You are going to be packing tonight. No binging. You're coming with me." She stood up and folded her hands. She gave me that face that was supposed to intimidate me but I found it rather cute.
"I am not going anywhere sweetie." I patted her hair.
"Oh yes you are. Trust me. I'm not taking no for an answer." She gave me that devilish grin I knew so well.
"Lizzy I swear..." I narrowed my eyes. She just continued grinning. Let's see what she has to pull this time.

You know that moment when you are asleep but you feel like your bed is moving? Yup, that was me currently. And it didn't feel just like a dream no more. It felt real.
So I peeled my eyes open and found myself asleep in the back seat of a car, my roommate and her boyfriend in the front, driving and talking non-stop.
I sat up straight abruptly and silence filled the car. I sniffed myself. I had a little smell on me since I didn't shower and my breath smelt too.
"This is so not cool, Lizzy. I knew you were a little devil since the day I met you." I groaned. "This was your plan? Kidnap me in my sleep. You do realize that is gonna cost you all your teeth, right?"
"I'd rather pay cash." She turned her face to me.
"2k." I narrowed my eyes.
"500pounds sweetie." I smiled sickly sweet.
"I'm calling the shots here since you kidnapped me. 3k." I raised the amount.
"1.5 Chris." She said.
"4k. I'm not backing down."
"Alright. 2k it is." She groaned.
"I want it cash sweetie." It was my turn to smile sickly sweet at her. "And you know, you could have had the decency to at least wake me up to take a shower. Lizzy I don't smell nice."
"Bad idea. That would defeat the whole purpose of kidnapping you and bringing you on this trip." She said.
"You suck. Even you too Timothy." Her boyfriend just laughed at me and said, "You'll survive Chris."
Lizzy gave me my phone and the rest of the ride it was just me in the back seat, eyes glued on my phone, third wheeling while the two lovebirds in the front talked their hearts away. I was MISERABLE. Yes with the caps.
Timothy's lake house was a striking front family home with panoramic views of the sea. It belonged to his parents but they let him borrow it for the holiday.
His friends had gotten there first before us and instead of being friendly and greeting people, I grabbed my suitcase that Lizzy had packed for me and went upstairs to find a bathroom. After I'd freshened up and made myself presentable I came down stairs and joined the others in the kitchen.
"Sorry ladies and gentlemen for not introducing myself when I arrived as a mannered person would. I had to fix myself a little since someone decided to kidnap me on a trip I did not agree too." I shot Lizzy a talking eye.
"Jacob, Fiona, Lewis, Reece and Bennett; this is my roommate- Christadora. Chris, these are Tim's friends." Lizzy introduced us.
"Nice to meet you guys." I said but I didn't smile as a normal person would. I was pissed. And I think everyone in the room could feel it. So I had to do what I was best at to relieve myself. Cook.
"This is clearly not working. I can't find the energy to be nice right now." I sighed then said, "Everybody out of the kitchen."
Timothy's friends looked at me as if I'd grown two heads. "Don't look at me like that. I mean it."
"Uh.. Chris. We haven't done grocery shopping yet." Lizzy spoke after a few seconds of silence.
I chuckled to myself. "You kidnap me in my sleep, you didn't even wake me up to at least take a shower, I'm so pissed off right now and you're telling me there's nothing to cook?!"
"I am going to cook you Lizzy. You too Timothy. I'm going to fry you both." I charged towards the two. And they knew better than to keep sitting where they were.
"Chris, wait, let's talk it out." Lizzy said.
"No. I want the fridge and pantry full right now. I need to cook my anger off or I'll lose it completely." I semi screamed. I was feeling so much at the moment for no particular reason.
"Okay. How about you and Bennett to grocery shopping, huh? Will that calm you down?" Timothy said.
"Why me?" Bennett protested.
"Apparently looks like you're the only one without a girlfriend, if she mauls you, you've got no one to leave behind." Timothy said, backing away with Lizzy behind him.
He threw his card and keys towards me. I grinned. "I'm going to have fun wrecking your car."
His eyes popped out of their sockets as he realized that giving me his car keys was a wrong move. Bennett snatched them away from me.
"Hey what the freak?!"
"You're not driving." He said. He was standing so close to me. And there was something about his voice, I don't know what but it was stopping me from arguing.
So I just flipped my braids and went outside. I was going to do some grocery shopping, cook and eat until I'm okay. No time to be affected by voices.
So guys, places, people, basically everything is fictional. I may name real places not knowing where they are so forgive me for not doing my research but this is an unplanned book. I will not be looking up anything or looking for help from other sources. Just me brainstorming directly onto the chapters as I go.
Thank you
