"It's not your fault," I told him, continuing to flip through it. "Americans are notorious liars. Especially when it comes to what they're capable of."

"Why?" He asked, looking down at the notebook in my hands with deep disappointment. "How do I fix it?"

There was my in. You're welcome, dad. I can listen sometimes.

"I'll work on it with you," I told him kindly. "I've trained with most of these guys."

"Really?"

"Sure," I told him, placing a hand on his shoulder. His eyes flared some type of strangeness, but he let me do it.

Without checking the clock, I decided I had enough time for a little more socialization before I headed to meet Aizawa. As I'd scanned faces upon entering the common room, I had noticed that Bakugo fucking Katsuki had been among them. Aside from annoyance, I felt some confusion towards the fact that among the people seemed to be voluntarily hanging out with him, was that redhead. Boy Me. It confused me so much that I'd taken it upon myself to learn his name. Kirishima Eijiro. So, they were friends. The pink girl from the change room and Kaminari were also there, and they seemed to like me enough, so that could work in my favor. There was also another black-haired boy, who I didn't recall anything about. I desperately needed to know how Kirishima had lost the sports festival, plus, if I got in good with his friends, that would probably really bother Bakugo Katsuki. It was a two-birds-one-stone situation.

"Hi guys," I said as I approached them, raising a hand in a wave, letting my eyes fall onto each of them except for Bakugo.

"Hey Stronghold," Kaminari greeted me eagerly. "How's it going?"

"You're back in your hero costume," the pink girl commented, cocking her head to the side as she looked at me.

"What the fuck do you want?" Bakugo hissed at me. I turned to him, feigning surprise.

"Oh, you're here too. I didn't notice," I told him indifferently. That comment cracked his friends up a little. Bakugo didn't respond. He simply glared, eyes flaring. "I actually wanted to talk to you, Kirishima Eijiro. Got a minute?"

"Him?" Kaminari asked, seeming somewhat disappointed.

"Me?" Kirishima asked, his eyes flaring uncertainty immediately. I took it as a compliment. "What for?"

"Watch out," the black-haired boy warned him jokingly. "She kicked Bakugo's ass and she's coming for you next."

"Say that again," Bakugo said to him coldly. "I dare you."

He didn't. I laughed though, deciding that I liked that black haired boy.

"It's nothing like that," I assured Kirishima, raising my palms innocently. "I just have an offer for you, if you're interested."

"He's not." Bakugo's voice was immediate.

"What kind of offer?" Kirishima asked, his voice unsteady. I supposed a little confusion was to be expected, but he wasn't actually intimidated by me, was he?

"Well, it looks like most of my time during class quirk training is going to be spent helping you guys out with your ultimate moves, so I'll have to do my own training outside of those hours," I told him, trying not to sound too much like I was bragging, even though I very much was. "If you're interested in putting in some extra work, you're more than welcome to join me."

He swiveled his head to his friends on either side of him. "Just me?"

"Just you," I told him.

"Why?" He asked. His eyes were genuine. He didn't know.
