"Nadia! Slow down!" Was the last thing I heard before Loki was out of my sight. I kept galloping never wanting to stop. That's when I heard it. A small whimper coming from my right. I slowed down and walked to where it was coming from.

Then I heard him. The male voice from my dreams. He was in my head again.

"I wouldn't go over there if I were you." He said.

"Oh. So now you want to protect me instead of kill me?" I asked out loud.

"Well I do want to still kill you. I just want it to be at my hands."

"Well guess what, I'm not going to give up that easily. You will have to try much harder to kill me." I said proudly.

But the voice didn't reply. So I continued walking in the direction of the whimpering. I turned a corner and there in front of me was a wolf pup. I don't know what the voice was talking about, how could a little pup hurt me? Especially when I am the Goddess of Nature. I walked toward it and stopped Calder. The pup looked up at me with sad eyes. The moment his eyes met mine I felt the same connection and tingling feeling I had when I looked into Sielpnir's eyes.

I knew at that moment I needed to help him.

I looked around to see if there were any other wolves nearby. Then I felt a searing pain jolt through my head, almost like I was struck by lightning. In the same moment I fell off Calder and landed right next to the pup. He crawled towards me and buried himself into my arms and chest.

I held him close to me while still lying on the ground from falling. He was very small, probably the runt of the litter and was rejected by his mother.

"Shh. It will be okay. I'll take good care of you." I whispered to the pup who had stopped whimpering.

My head was now pounding against my skull and I started to cry from the pain. The pup started whimpering again, so I looked up at him and said "I think I'll name you Fenrir."

Then everything went black.

Okay I know that this is a very short chapter but considering I had just written a long on I figured that a short one would be good for now. But since it is short and I have about 15 minutes until I have to deal with 20 kindergarteners I might just try to update a second chapter today. No promises though. But I will update again soon.

"Until next time!"
