"Sunshine, could you come down for a second please?" I asked

I closed the refrigerator and I could hear the patter of her little feet coming down the stairs

"Yes mommy?" She asked smiling brightly

"I want you to do a taste test if you don't mind?" I asked her

"As long as it's not coconut or chocolate." She replied

"It's not. I know you're allergic to coconut and you don't like chocolate. It's blue raspberry. I'm going to candy the pineapples and grapes with it." I spoke feeding her a little bit

"MMM!!! That's really good mommy. " She replied

"I'm going to finish these up and place them in the fridge. We're having your favorite for dinner tonight." I told her

"Spaghetti!?" She asked me

"Yes ma'am." I spoke

"Yay!! I'm gonna go finish playing now." She replied walking away

I finished the fruit and then I checked on the spaghetti. I started cooking the corn and I also checked my phone hoping to see a text from Arielle, my bestfriend. Usually she'd be here by now. It was still daylight so I wasn't worried.

One Hour Later

"Mommy can we eat now? I'm hungry." Sunshine asked

I checked my phone once again and no text or missed called

"Sure baby. Go wash your hands." I told her

"Already done." She replied showing me her hands half wet

"Alright. You can sit at your table and I'll bring you your food." I told her

"Can we watch Moana?" She asked

"Sure we can." I told her as I placed her plate in front of her

"Thank you mommy." She replied

"You're welcome. What do you want to drink?" I asked her

"My Orange Pineapple juice." She replied

"Okay. I'll be back with it."

30 minutes later

"Thank you mommy. That was really good." Sunshine spoke after eating her second helping

For someone who is "underweight" according to her pediatrician she sure can eat.

"You're welcome baby. Now wipe your mouth. You wanna help me with the dishes?" I asked her

"Yes ma'am." She replied

I put the leftover spaghetti in the fridge cause we can definitely eat off of it for the next 2 days. Afterward we cleaned the kitchen and made sure everything was wiped down.

I then went started a bubble bath using our favorite rose oil and lavender bubble bath.
We got in and relaxed. I started to close my eyes when I felt Sunshine blow bubbles at me and it landed on my face.

"Oh you think that's funny?" I asked her

"Yes. You look like Santa." She replied laughing

"Well I guess that makes us twins." I told her as I blew bubbles at her

For a few minutes we had a bubble fight until the water got cold. We let the water out and then got in the shower. I helped Sunshine bathe herself and then I bathe myself. We got out, dried off and put on our PJs.
