What happens when a customer gets so mad that they curse our OCs?
What does the curse do?
Here's some ideas:
They both lose one of their senses (Sight, smell, taste, touch or hearing) - This curse would wear off on it's own
They forget everyone (Oooh the angsty possibilities) - This one can't wear off on it's own but can be broken. We can decide how.
They start to act the opposite of how they normally would (If they're nice to people they become mean, if they're normally cheerful they become miserable etc.) - Another that would just wear off eventually
Or come up with your own
