"Dude what are you doing?"
"What's it look like" he raised a brow as you looked between him and the burning car.
"Alright smart ass follow up question... why?" This time he shrugged, looking back at the flames that were growing rather tall, you wondered if the car would blow up like they did in the movies.
"I was hungry" you felt your face twist in confusion,
"Wait, wait wait... so your brain said I'm hungry and somehow translated that to light car on fire" you asked in disbelief. He shrugged again,
"What's it to ya?"
"Dude there's a convenience store right across the road?"
"I'm broke" you groaned before grabbing his hand and dragging him after you. Inside the store you bought you both instant ramen and drinks, he devoured his and ended up with half of yours.
"Thanks" he said quietly, you got the feeling he didn't say that often.
"Welcome, now where are your friends today? Or are you a loner?" With a tsk he checked his phone.
"I'm meeting up with them now" he said rising,
"Cool take me with" you followed him to a nearby bike. The car he lit on fire had garnered some attention now but had disappointingly not blown up.
He noticed your pout and rolled his eyes thinking you were upset he'd lit the car on fire.
"Ah no, you stay thanks for the food" he got on and before he could stop you, you jumped behind him.
"I gotta make sure you don't commit anymore arson or some other crazy shit on the way there. You can drop me home later" you smiled wrapping your arms loosely around his waist. He just sat in shock for a few moments before sighing and starting up his bike.
"I'm Baji"
"Baji do you often light cars on fire?" He grinned at you over his shoulder
"Only when I'm hungry"
"Next time I wanna see one blow up"
"I can arrange that" he grinned before speeding off down the street.
