Nobody should be surprised about the thing that has been standing at the door ever since the lights turned off!
What looks like an already half melted CCC-employee, seems to be getting tired of waiting around. For now, they look somewhat content with at least Hatties' shocked expression. It looks far less content when a small grenade suddenly hits its face, turning into a bright burning flame.
Hattie pulls the anon behind a desk as the thing starts to screech, gurgle and flail all of its limbs, spreading the fire as it is trying to pull the grenade out of its quickly melting, or rather disintegrating flesh.
It is the greatest demonstration of the things' flammability and it is impressive.
Or maybe it's just the incendiary grenade that Hattie threw at it.
