His Desired Bride

1. Moments

"Have you talked to him?" Gautam asked her, as their call was on speaker. Hearing his question, Samaira's smile faded a little but she composed herself immediately as she doesn't want them to realize anything wrong today. 

"Yes, I have. We talked at night and he said he will call again in some time. That's why I'm planning all this." She told them her plan to surprise him. 

They don't have any tension between them. Abhimaan is on a business trip. His deal was important and he went thinking he would return on time to celebrate their special day together but so much happened all together to him. He had to extend his stay there. 

It was the first time in these 5 years that they are not together. But As always, Samaira is always so understanding about his work commitment. She understands him and also encourages him to stay there and to focus on work. 

She remembered how she felt hollow last night, when he called her last night but they couldn't talk much because of the time difference issue. 

Arunima felt bad for her, but Samaira instantly changed her mood. 

"Mom, don't think much. I'm fine, don't worry. You are supposed to enjoy your trip, okay." She told her. 

"It was so sudden of him or we would have come to meet you." Arunima said to her. They were also out for a family wedding then they planned a small trip, Samaira advised them. 

She always takes care of everyone, even not being present physically with them. 

"Maa, I told you na, no big deal. He was already very guilty, don't say anything to him now. It was a new branch, obviously he needs time there." Samaira tried to make her understand. After talking for some time, they hung up. She took a deep breath and started the engine to reach her home. 

"It's fine, both are mature and understanding towards each other. They respect each other's profession." Gautam tried to make Arunima feel good too.

"I know, it's just I want them always together and happy." She says to him. She is afraid, in this busy lifestyle, what if they lose their happiness and peace of mind. She understands that work is important but the way Abhimaan is going, she is worried for them now. 

From the last 2 years, he was 60% out of the country and he has very less time for family and Samaira. Still Samaira never complains but as a wife, and a woman Arunima can feel her. 

"They are happy, Arunima, that's most important."

"You have a habit now to take tension about everything. These are signs of turning old." Gautam said to her, teasing her. He knows how to divert her mind. 

"Really??"

"I'm still young, and way smarter than you." She said to him, getting up from the chair and went out towards the balcony. Gautam chuckles seeing her. He didn't show it to her but he was always worried for Abhimaan and Samaira.

At home, Samaira reached and entered her house by applying the entry code. She saw the whole hall was decorated as she asked for. She smiled seeing all this, she went to the kitchen and found Mrs Annie with her assistant. 

"You came, Samaira." She said seeing her. Samaira put the cake into the freeze and other stuff on the kitchen platform. She looks tired. Her college then all this work. 

"Let me make some coffee for you, you will feel better " Mrs Annie said and turned to get the milk. But Samaira stopped her,

"I'm fine, Mrs Annie. I don't have much time. He said he will call in an hour." Samaira told her. Mrs Annie nodded to her.
