Chapter 05: Graduating

Freya's POV
So four months have past and since I'm both lazy and don't care about Bella's social life I'll just sum up everything that went down.

Edward disappears for a week making her bitchier than usual then he returns only to save Bella from being crushed by Tyler's van and makes Bella curious about what they really are. Bella figured it out after some help from Jacob and after confirming it with Edward comes and brags to me about how she and Edward are mates and they're going to be young and beautiful forever after he makes her into a vampire.

I, of course, knew all this and blandly told her to fuck off as I had better things to do than listen to her chihuahua voice yap away.

She then proceeds to get into trouble with nomadic vampires and nearly dies after falling for a stupid trap and somehow survives and goes to prom with Edward.

Now that you're all caught up I'm now graduating and moving to New York!

After everyone listened to the principal's speech and collected their certificates and another speech from the valid Victorian, it was my turn, unfortunately.

I walked up to the stage and saw that the only people who showed up were Stephen, Wong, and Tony. This made me smile a bit as I realized that I wasn't alone, and I took a deep breath and started my speech.

"I know some of you are probably thinking that the hard part is done. Well I'm sorry to tell you this but you're wrong."

Everyone looks at me startled but I continued.

"We're humans and we're imperfect. We're going to make mistakes and mess up. We're going to fall in love, and get our hearts broken, then we're going to fall in love again. We're going to flunk our classes, or change our minds about a certain course.....halfway through the year!"

This made some people chuckle.

"Our future is uncertain and we will never know what the right decision is until we've made it, but that doesn't matter. Do you know why?"

A few people mumbled and shook their heads.

"Because this is what we're supposed to do! We're supposed to make those mistakes, we're supposed to fail, and we're supposed to be imperfect! We're going to do these things, it's impossible not to! The only thing that is truly important, and the only thing that truly matters.......is that we always get back on our feet, dust ourselves off and try again and again until we figure out what we want to do and who we want to be. So don't be sorry or sad just make mistakes and get back on your feet and try again!"

Everyone clapped and cheered and I smiled before walking off the stage. I went back to my seat and listened to the principal's closing speech before we threw up our caps and left. I removed my gown revealing my blue dress and happily embraced Wong and politely greeted Stephen and Tony.

The latter of which drove me home to grab suitcases and lock my bedroom door and drove me to the airport. After a two and a half hour plane ride we landed in New York.

Tony dropped me off at the apartment given to me by SHEILD and Stephen and Wong stayed to help me settle into my new cute studio apartment.

I started training tomorrow full time with Phil Coulson in the morning and with Stephen in that afternoon.

After unpacking and bidding Stephen and Wong goodbye, I ordered some Chinese and showered and washed my face and got ready for bed. Once I finished the food was here and I paid the delivery boy before sitting on my bed and eating while watching anime. Once I finished I turned off the tv and brushed my teeth before falling asleep.

The next morning I woke up early and did my daily routine and ate breakfast before leaving for my first day as a SHEILD agent.

Before entering the building I double checked my duffel bag to make sure that I had my workout clothes and paperwork, and then proceeded to start the first day of my new life.
