"yes correct, do you know my position?" I asked cheerfully hiding my sarcasm in my smile

"a comedian now?"

"one of my many skills"

he scoffed "do any of those skills actually relate to the job lady?"

"of course" it was obvious that he doubted my skills, but I wasnt gonna waste time trying to defend myself through words when I can show it through my actions

"oh really like what"

with a raised brow "that's for me to know and you to find out" I say with a smile "why tell you when I can show you"

"oh really how?"

"Now now Mr Blake, your paid to work not dally" I gave him a pointed look, mimicking the way he spoke to me about my work

he looked visibly shocked by my retort, his face flushed which actually shocked me, he seemed like a person who didn't really show emotions and kept to his usual anger stance since for him its easier to maintain, I thought he was good at keeping a forced appearance and keeping any emotion that isnt anger in check, but seeing him flush so easily was actually quite comforting

so he is capable of looking like that

maybe he isnt as in touch with his emotions as I originally thought

He spun on his heel after dropping the work load on my desk and practically storming off into his office

he was quite cute when he does things like that

I looked through sone of the papers he had handed to me, or more better; threw to me and rearranged them according to categories based on projects and clients, I was also given the data and statistics of the company's project, and research details for future projects, although this is past my job description as his assistant I will be with him when he meets clients and it's important I know and understand what is going on so that I can assist him properly.

This week was my observation week, and planning. On monday is when the real work begins

I started writing down my notes, things I have learned this week, and things I need to prepare for next week, before switching over to Mr. Blake tasks, and upcoming meetings that haven't been scheduled yet

What I have learned this week is that his entire schedule is messy and unorganized, either his previous assistants were inexperienced or he just doesnt know how to follow a schedule

"Hi girly" A stranger says, I look up to see one of the workers smiling at me

"hello"

"Mr Blake's new assistant right?"

"yes, Im rosella but my friends call me rosie"

"ok rosella, Im Gabe I work in the marketing department" I see he doesn't consider me as a friend that is fine it was so be expected, its only my first week after all

I ignored the hint of hostility and reply "nice to meet you Gabe, was there something you needed?"

"just wanted to meet the new assistant"

"well you've met me now" I try to end this conversation so I can get back with what I was doing but he just wouldnt leave

"indeed, I saw you the first day you came in I couldnt help but notice you came in with the petrova's" There it is, this can go two ways.

an innocent question with bad outcomes waiting to happen

If I ask him why thats important I will come off defensive, or I say yes and they automatically asume I got my job thanks to them
