Inked by Destiny

Part 1

I felt the cold touch of the midnight air surround me, gently blowing over my body. My curtains swayed calmly whilst I lay asleep in bed. Still, as still as the leaves upon a wind less Summer night. I could feel a deep burning sensation erupt from the top part of my right foot, and as each second slowly ticked by, it seamed to grow stronger. It began to feel as is there were a dull-clawed monster trying to claw its way out of my foot. Sweat began to trickle down the side of my face and down the back of my neck. My head began to pound harder and harder until it felt like my brain was going to break out of its boned cage, almost as if it felt like it was in a place it didn't belong. I willed my eyes to open, but to no avail. The, as if I jumped out of the abyss that was consuming my mind, my eyes suddenly shot open. I threw the linnen sheet off my bare leggs and traced my fingers down the side of my now throbbig foot and in the dull moonlight that penetrated through my window and casted a white shadow into the foot of my bed, I saw what seemed to be 5 grey patches along the upper-right side of my foot. The pain slowly began to fade away and I told myself not to panic and to go check it out in the bathroom light, but I fell asleep instead.
