Chapter 2: Something New

Mikey was searching and searching from the tunnels of the sewers left to right as he was listening closely to the sound once again.

"Where is it coming from?" Mikey said. As he began to look back and forward until the sound got louder and louder to the point Mikey started to run. He was going at full speed when once he was very close to the sound he suddenly stopped and slowly looked around to where he was.

Mikey didn't know this part of the tunnel where there was a waterfall from the left, right, and the middle until when Mikey heard the sound and soon saw a figure standing near the cliff, holding a cell phone in their left hand and the tune started playing where he drops the phone I'm the sewers.

Mikey was looking at the figure confused until it spoke, "What is the whole point of living? Why waste for someone who doesn't care back? I hate this world, I hate humans, they can be so cruel.", The figure was gripping its fist and started to walk forward slowly to the cliff.

"I, sometimes wonder, why bother loving someone who doesn't even love back? Why even protect them if they won't protect you back?" These words this strange figure was saying made Mikey think about his family and friends a lot.

But he was getting off track and started focusing on this strange person made him realize that this figure was in deep depression.

Mikey began to walk slowly toward the figure but was also preparing his weapon in case it started to attack. Until in movement the figure spoke, "What do you want?" It made Mikey jump a little until he said " I-I was um..", he tried to speak out.

The figure didn't even bother to turn around to make eye contact and said "Listen here Mutant." the figure started as Mikey was surprised for a moment.

"How did he-", Mikey thought.

"I don't need your pity nor want to hear about my situation right now, I would like for you to leave me alone." The figure said in an aggressive tone.

Mikey tried to speak but the figure began to face Mikey and spoke once again "I don't want to hear your nonsense nor anything how you think! LEAVE!" the figure turn around and began to walk near the cliff only an inch away.

Mikey had enough of being silent and said "I am trying to ask if something is wrong or happened to you because you seem depressed!"

The figure said back to Mikey "It is none of your business to get yourself involved with and besides what do you know what I'm going through."

Mikey then said back to the figure, "I can say right now at this moment of what you said about everything of how life is meaningless and hating human is WRONG!"

The figure said to Mikey "Excuse me? Since when do you know what it's like to not feel appreciated nor feel happy to be with a family, friends, or even a partner?" the figure then started to grip its fist harder.

Then Mikey said with passion, "Because deep down, even if they do hate me or despite everything about me, I will always be there with them and help them no matter what way possible."

The figure suddenly laughs, "And do you think I care about what you say and your speech? Pfft... As if it will change my mind about life."

Mikey then stood his ground and said "You may think it's foolish but it can help someone open their mind to things in many ways.", He then placed his hand on his plastron.

"It can be hard to be there for someone when they don't want you around or find you a pest, but if you deeply care about someone then you start to become stronger and more passion to be there for them that one day they'll see you differently!", Mikey said with pride, realizing that no matter what his family or his friends think of him, he'll always stand tall.

The figure didn't say anything and started to walk forward towards the cliff which made it to the edge.

Mikey started to walk slowly and said "Don't do something you'll regret, there is so much to live for in life! You just...", He opened his hand out.

"You just need to find it." He said with faith in his hand.

In a long pause, the figure then said "Then prove it."

Before Mikey could say anything else the figure then jumped off of the edge.

Everything was so fast

Everything was so blurry

Everything was so strange...

Mikey then jump after the figure and grab his hand, before Mikey could grab his weapon to save himself from falling the figure reveal its face and said: "Prove it to me, Michelangelo Hamato Yoshi!"

Mikey was indeed shocked as the figure had glowing purple flame and white eyes, with sharp claws. And ever wondered how it knew his name.

Suddenly Mikey began to glow as if he was being possessed, but his right arm started to be wrap-around with a purple ribbon as he was glowing orange from his mask.

"YOU ARE A FOOL TO FALL INTO MY CURSE AND FOR WHAT! SAVE SOMEONE FROM DYING!", The figure laugh wickedly and started to disappear as it became butterflies fluttering away.

Mikey screamed in fear of not knowing what just happened and didn't know what to do before he could do anything, he fell into the water and started to drown through and through...
