The two couldn't keep their eyes off one another.

Wilbur's eyes swept across Schlatt's bare chest. The scars littering it were just.. Different, to him. He found himself reaching out to touch.

Schlatt moved back a bit. "It looks bad, doesn't it.." He sounded disappointed, like he expected Wilbur to not react a little negatively.

"No, no, Schlatt.." Wilbur started, moving closer, as water sloshed around him. The pool water was warm tonight. Wilbur's hand touched the spot where Schlatt's heart was supposed to be, before trailing down to his ribcage.

"You're beautiful.. Absolutely beautiful.."

Schlatt's face burned bright red as Wilbur looked him in the eyes.

"I love you." Wilbur said softly, moving even closer to the ram and placing a hand on each shoulder for support.

"I love you too, Wil.." Schlatt replied, leaning into the other, before pressing his lips to Wilbur's.

They stayed like that for a few moments before breaking the kiss and staring at each other, smiling.
