Chapter 20

"You like it?" Taeyong asks and Doyoung nods.

"It suits you." Doyoung compliments making Taeyong smile.

"So how've you been?" Taeyong asks and Doyoung shrugs.

"I've been stepping out of my comfort zone and making new friends... And I've been getting pretty close to Yuta." Doyoung says as he smiles fondly while thinking about the said male. Taeyong feels a small ping in his heart but smiles, happy for his friend.

"That's great!" Taeyong asks and Doyoung nods his head softly.

"Oh by the way-"

"Babe? Where have you been? I've been looking for you." Jaehyun says as he comes up behind Taeyong making the older smile while Jaehyun glares at Doyoung.

"Oh hey Doyoung! Did he tell you the news yet?" Jaehyun asks as he wraps his arm around Taeyong's waist as he gives Doyoung a cocky smile. He looks at them confused and shakes his head as Taeyong gives Jaehyun a look.

"Well it's official! We're dating." Jaehyun says and Doyoung smiles as he looks at Taeyong, ignoring Jaehyun as a whole.

"Congrats! I'm happy for you." Doyoung says and Taeyong nods as he unwraps Jaehyun's arm from around him and gives Doyoung a hug.

"I'll always be here if you need it though, 'kay?" Taeyong says and Doyoung nods his head with a small smile.

"Come on Taeyong, let's go." Jaehyun says, a little annoyed at the interaction as he pulls Taeyong away making the older roll his eyes before waving Doyoung goodbye.

"You okay?" Yuta asks as he comes up behind Doyoung, startling him.

"Jeez don't sneak up on me like that." Doyoung chuckles but he stops once he sees the serious look on Yuta's.

"...It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to. I'm happy for him. I'm okay." Doyoung says and Yuta scans his face for a second before nodding.

"Okay... You don't need him anyway. I'll take care of you from now on." Yuta say as he wraps his arm around Doyoung who blushes and pushes him away.

"There are people around! And this is a violation of school rules. We shouldn't be doing this on campus." Doyoung says and Yuta just looks at him with such admiration.

"You're cute when you're scolding me." Yuta says and Doyoung flushes even harder before storming off as the older follows him with a laugh.

"Jaehyun what was that about?" Taeyong says as they walk into one of the bathrooms.

"I thought you were gonna stop talking to him once we started dating." Jaehyun says as he faces the older making Taeyong scoff.

"Are you still on about this? Jae it's more than obvious that I only like you. Why are you so caught up on this?" Taeyong asks, starting to get annoyed with Jaehyun's antics.

"Because he so obviously still has a crush on you Taeyong! And then you go and give him a hug right in front of me?!" Jaehyun says as he raises his hands in defeat.

"He's MY friend and you don't know the shit he's been through! If you would let me explain myself I would have told you that I'm pretty sure he and Yuta are becoming a thing. I'm always gonna be there for him, but I don't see him as anything other than a friend. If you weren't blinded by jealous all the time maybe you would have realized that! Do you not trust me that much?" Taeyong asks and Jaehyun sighs as he runs his hands through his hair.
