I just rolled my eyes at her. Sure, a while ago, I might have been acting like a mental patient, but I'm completely sober now. I think Hunter blood burns alcohol quickly. "Yeah, whatever. Just drive. I really need to--?!" I put my hand over my mouth and swallowed the bile near to coming out. I swear it would have come out right then had I not reacted in time.

"Whoa! Okay, okay, I'll drive! Just don't puke on my baby!" And then the car started to speed up. If I wasn't in such a tight situation, I would've laughed out loud. But I was, and laughing doesn't seem to be the best option right now. She calls her car baby? What.

In less than 5 minutes, the car stopped. We were already here. I quickly opened the door and threw up on the pavement.

"Ugh, that's... um... ugh." I heard the girl speak again. Not a second later, I heard the door shut, and a hand pat me on the back as I continued to let the contents of my stomach out. I was, to say the least, irritated. The taste of the acid was sour, and somewhat bitter. I felt like I had just swallowed a tablet without water or any beverage. And my head was pounding.

After I had finished, I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and turned to look at the girl. I smiled at her tightly, not wanting to show the remaining bile, if some were caught between my teeth. Embarrassment was the last thing I needed at this moment.

"Thank you for this--um..." What was her name again? Oh, wait, did I even ask for it once?

"Rhiann. Rhiann Jones. And.. you're welcome... what's your name?" She extended a hand and smiled at me

"Leonel. Leonel Cipher." I smiled again and shook hands with her. I'm seriously thankful for her driving me here. If she didn't, I probably would have passed out cold before even reaching the Lodgings. And the frostbite probably would've killed me the morning after.

"Okay... bye!" She said and entered her car. I watched her as she drove off, a smile plastered on my face. However, it was quickly wiped away when I heard the sound of glass breaking. My senses immediately spiked up.

I ran to where the sound came from and saw something that made my heart stop. It was dark, and I couldn't see anything at all. Anything but that gleaming red eye and violet hair.

Natalie.

I stood there, frozen, as I watched her stand up, her bones cracking, and run again. When she disappeared from my sight, questions immediately found their way to my mind. Why were her eyes glowing? Didn't a vampire's eyes glow when they turn Rogue? But I thought they would be gray when they glowed? And how did her bones heal that fast? Adrenaline, maybe? And most importantly...

..where was she headed off to?

With that thought, I snapped out of whatever trance I was in. If she was in such a rush, something bad may have happened. I don't know to whom, but seeing as Natalie was moving that fast, and she was that determined to get there even with her bones broken, whoever that is must be really important. More important than even her life. Why would she risk her life with not landing properly if she did care about her body right now?

I know she's a vampire, and she can take care of herself just right. Heck, she even survived falling from the fifth floor with glass shards all over her body, plus the broken bones. I know she's strong. And I mean, strong. Like, superman strong....

....But I had a feeling that something bad would happen if she went there just by herself. And I won't let her kill herself just like that.

I ran to the parking lot and jumped on my motorcycle, not caring if I didn't have a helmet on, and sped off, following Natalie's, blue Chevrolet.
