"Hey," a calm voice said, "Hey? is that all you have to say to me little bitch?" an angry voice retaliated, "calm down tiger!" "how many years has It been since the last time you called and not just sent me a fucking text!" "texts you never replied to!!" "whatever just tell me what you want"
"No, seriously Jay how have you been?" "well after you took my beta with you all those years ago I have somehow managed to get this pack in the top ones, Sid" "well, is that not great!" Sid replied and then quickly added, "so you won't have a problem If I send my kids over would you?" "what?" Jay asked "they both need to stay at the packhouse. Maya has only shifted twice in two years and Ran is having a really hard time keeping his instincts a secret, I really need your help, Jay" Sid pleaded "is Rehana not able to help them adjust?" Jay questioned
the question seems to have struck the wrong chord because even though it was on the phone Jay could sense the discomfort but he needed answers "she, well she kinda left me and the kids when she found her second mate." Sid said with an awkward laugh trailing behind.
Jay was stunned into silence. he could not believe what he had just heard, Rehana could not do something like that to Sid or the kids. "I really need your help, Jay," Sid said "I-I- Ran is still showing something which can be made better but Maya she- she doesn't show anything at all" Sids' voice had started cracking "She is slipping away from everything Jay and- and I-I remember you telling me what happens when the wolf starts to vanish from within you guys, I-I cannot loose my daughter Jay"
Sid was sobbing, he had indured so much alone. how long has he been raising the children alone? was Rehana with them when they changed? Jay had a lot of questions but he knew his friend was not in a position to answer them the only support he could give him was giving him an answer.
"Send your kids over, I am sure they will love it here, and while we are at it why don't you come too?" Jay asked "I would love to man, as soon as I am finished with my business here I will meet you and the kids back at your place. I cannot tell you how thankful I am that you are taking my kids in! thanks brother " "it is a pleasure to have the kids. they will get to know their roots too"
"Alpha we have a problem" My beta shouted "I need to go right now sid, text me when the kids are coming" with that Jay ended the phone call.
