It has been about 4 day's since final selection had started and you haven't seen tanjiro nor gyutaro once which had you really worried. While you were running you saw burgundy and black hair running the other way as your eyes widen. You quickly ran after them, that's when you noticed they both hid behind a tree as you got confused. You ran up beside them and stood next to tanjiro, it looked like they both didn't notice your presence.
"Why are we hiding..?" You questioned as both the boys jumped
"Y/n!?" Gyutaro whispered yelled
"You have no idea how thankful i-" gyutaro suddenly stopped mid sentence as he eyes widened
You sensed it too, a powerful aura, more powerful then all the demons you've ever killed during this final selection.
You turned to look infront of the tree and you see a huge demon with hands all over it's body while another hand is holding a dead person. The mouth was covered with hands while the skin tone was a nasty color of green. Even though tanjiro was the one with amazing smell, you could tell the smell of this demon was definitely disgusting, yes, just the regular smell, the demon smelt gross.
A boy was running away from the huge demon. The demon then stuffed the deceased kid into its mouth and chewed, the boy tried to run away but the demon grabbed ahold of his leg and brought the boy up to his mouth.
That's when you finally snapped out of your trance. You jumped as high as you could and cut the demon's hand off while the boy fell to the ground.

After tanjiro succeed in cutting the demon's head off, while you and gyutaro helped. It was now three days later and you were happy to say you survived, alongside your siblings.
You now all stood side by side at the end of final selection. Though out of the corner of your eye you saw a boy with a boar head on but his body was definitely toned and actually kinda hot.
But you were a little weirded out. That's when Tanjiro suddenly talked beside you.
"He's gone and it's all because I blacked out." Tanjiro said.
"Hey don't think about that ugly kid, it was his fault for running away when we could've protected him." You said with a smile as you patted tanjiro on the back
"Don't know how that's supposed to make me feel better but thanks." Tanjiro said with dotted eyes
That's when you, gyutaro and tanjiro heard a voice.
"I'm gonna die, I'm a goner." A boy with yellow hair said as you looked at him with little pity
"Welcome back." The girls said
"And congrats." They said
"We're pleased to see your safe." The girls said
"So? What am I supposed to do now?" A boy with a black mohawk type of hair
He did look handsome, but the scar on his face was quite ugly.
"Where's my sword?" The boy asked
"First, we shall issue you all uniforms." The black haired girl said
"We will take your mesurements, after which your rank will be engraved." She said
"There are ten ranks in all." The black haired girl said
"Kinoe" the white haired girl said
"Kinoto" the black haired girl said
"Hinoe"
"Hinoto"
Tsuchinoe"
"Tsuchinoto"
"Kanoe"
"Kanoto"
"Mizunoe"
"And mizunoto" the black haired girl finished it off
"Currently you are at the lowest rank, mizunoto."
"And our swords?" The black haired boy questioned once again
"Today you will choose the ore for your swords." The black haired girl said
"However, the swords will take ten to fifteen days to complete." The white haired girl said
The boy with the black hair titled his head a bit.
"Are you kidding me?" The boy said
"But first" the white haired girl said, she then clapped her hands.
Out of nowhere, crows came flying down and one landed on your shoulder.
"We will now assign each of you your own kasugai crow."
"Kasugai crow?" You questioned
"What for?" Gyutaro questioned
"The kasugai crows can be used primarily for communication."
"Did you say crow?" The yellow haired boy asked
"Isn't this a sparrow, though?" The boy asked as you let out a small giggle
"I don't need this crap!" The boy with the black hair yelled as his crow flew away startled
The boy walked towards the girl.
"Who the hell cares about some stupid crow!" The boy then grabbed the girl's white hair tightly
"I want my sword, you hear me" the boy said
"Hand it over, now!" The boy exclaimed
' Even though he's handsome, he's pretty arrogant, she just said it'll take about fifteen days' you thought as you sighed, tired of this already
"The color changing katana!" He said
Tanjiro came out of nowhere and grabbed onto the boy's wrist.
"Take your hand off of her!" Tanjiro said.
"Or I'll break your arm!" Tanjiro said
"Hah? Who the hell are you?" The boy asked
You then stepped forward just incase but that's when gyutaro grabbed your shoulder.
"Tanjiro can handle himself" gyutaro said
"Give it your best shot" the boy said
Tanjiro tightened his grip on the boy's wrist and that's when you heard a snap. The boy quickly backed away as he held his wrist with a painful look on his face.
"Are you finished chatting?" The girl with the black hair said

The girl with the black hair pulled off the red cloth off the table revealing ore's.
"Now please pick your ore" the girl said
"The ore for the sword that will annihilate demons and protect yourself..."
