Mike's POV
Ok, it can't be bad right? The pizzeria has been reopened from being under construction. "Fazbear's Family Diner" read the sign in the front building. I sigh and made my way to the building, right when i walked in I recognized that the layout wasn't the same, but the same groggy feeling of being weighed down still overwhelmed me as I entered and the old musk of the restaurant overwhelmed my sense of smell. Even though I was suppose to show up in the morning for my day shift, I was still a bit sleepy from not getting enough sleep the night before.. But I've made it up to boss by telling him I'd just go ahead and help the new night guard. He still hasn't told me the guy's name, I can only imagine some macho dude thinking he's better than every living thing.
I shake my head at the thought and made my way to the office, looking around at the new layout before I made it, pulling out a folding chair and unfolding it. I sat down heavily as soon as I unfolded the chair entirely, sighing I look down by my feet, raising a brow just as I noticed a mask of Freddy. "What the hell?" I said quietly just as I picked it up. "And the point of this is..?"
No one was there yet and I just shook my head, setting it down.
I look at my wrist watch to check the time. 11:59 PM the watch read. Holy shit if he doesn't make it in the next few seconds he will be- my thought was cut off just as I heard rapid foot steps running to the office, someone panting and whimpering almost. I raise my head and look up to the main hall, a smaller male ran into the room, a worried expression on his face and he looked over at me and backs up.
"Ooh God, I didn't know someone was going to be here, I'm so sorry I didn't make it here e-earlier I-I just had... Things going on." The stranger said. I can only assume it was the new night guard, he had a badge and his name tag which read 'Jeremy Fitzgerald' he was frozen almost, aside from the shaking and trembling. He appeared to be worried or maybe he was scared? Oh god THIS is the new night guard? "Hey' it's fine... Er.... Fitzgerald." I say.
Definitely not a macho man thinking he owns the place.
Jeremy's POV
Oh god, he looks angry.
I just escaped my house and this is what I run into? Do I leave?....
The guy was staring at me, I decided to back up gently. His eyes were piercing into me, I couldn't handle it, I instantly hold onto the edge of the entrance to the office, hiding my face with my other hand.
All I could hear is him getting up, my instant reactions kick in. "I-I'm so sorry sir' ..." I whisper out.
I felt a hand on my shoulder which made me flinch, I looked up at the taller man which was looking at me with concern. "Don't be sorry Fitzgerald' I don't know why you're so scared of me. But you don't have to be scared, call me Mike and not sir.. I don't like being called sir from people." He said, and I nod gently. His hand lifted from my shoulder. "Now go and sit down, your shift started about an hour ago." He added and sat in the folding chair he was in earlier.
I made it to my chair and pull up a monitor, I was still a bit shaken up.
I look over and saw Mike looking over at me. I smile gently not knowing if he is going to say something or not. His emotions definitely weren't written on his face.
"You understand what to do right?" He said. I nod. "Y-Yes sir- I mean.. Uhm.. Mike.." I corrected myself and continued. "Boss told me about everything, and uh.. I-if I'm right he had me sit with Scott for a bit to learn how to work things.... Just can't forget the music box" I smile once again "heh..." I look back at the monitor and switched to the camera with the music box, and just as I explained I just started winding it up. "I see.." Mike said.
