Chapter 15: A Performance

A/n: Finals for this quarter are coming up for me, you know what that means? Study study study! This might be the last chapter before I go into "I'm 'studying' but in reality I'm not" mode.

Last Chapter:
"Hello! I'm Y/n and I'll-" I stopped dead in my tracks.

'What is she doing back here?!' I wondered.

"Y-you're-" I stuttered out.

"Y-you're that lady who was mad about her kid being banned!" I stuttered out.

"Which I'm still mad about! My lawyer will make an easy case out of you for discrimination! But luckily for you, it's my sweet babies birthday today so I'm feeling nice. You better make it the best day or I will get you fired!" The lady threatened.

'Wait what was her name again? Linda?'

Linda was with her husband and kid. She wore a blue sweater with black pants, hoop earrings, glasses, and a black bag. The husband looked miserable, a sympathetic smile crossed his face when our eyes met. The husband wore a brown shirt with grey pants, light stubble on his chin. Daniel had a smug look on his face. Daniel had a black shirt with a skull on it, brown shorts, and had a shaved head.

'Looks like the bully from toy story' I thought.

"Mommy mommy! I want to play now!" Daniel held his mom by her sleeve.

"Well? Go on! Escort us to the party room!" She demanded.

I put on my best costumer service smile and turned to lead them to the room, my smile dropping when my back was turned.

"Are you ready to have the best birthday Daniel!" She said behind me.

"Uh huh!!" Daniel responded.

"Well lets hope the person in front of us doesn't ruin it" Linda said in a fake sweet tone.

"Linda! They're right there!" The husband scolded.

I sighed and opened the door to Party Room 4, holding it open for the family. I heard my Fazwatch chime, I looked down to see a message from Pepper.

Pepper: Yikes! Seems like ur in trouble now lol. Will it help if I tell you that the party lasts until 6pm?

Yesn't :Y/n

I looked up to and saw the kid picking up a party hat and putting it on. Linda stood by the snack counter, watching me.

'Creepy'

It wasn't long before Party quests had started arriving and kids started running around the room. Kids ran around the table, kept opening drawers, and screaming.

"Ma'am would you like to take your son and friends to the Daycare now?" I asked politely.

"Isn't my son banned?" Linda scoffed.

"Oh I'm sure Sun can make an exception, it is Daniels birthday after all!" I added.

"Then take them to the Daycare" Linda shooed me away.

I rolled my eyes and checked the guest list on my Fazwatch. I also did a head count and it seemed like everyone was there.

"Alright, who wants to go play in the Daycare?" I asked while jingling the bells I had on.

All the kids cheered and I managed to get them lined up. I led the front towards the slide. One by one the kids slid down, I made sure they didn't bump into each other. I was the last one and I paused.
