Chapter 24

Michelle's POV
I was scared I didn't know if anything else was going to happen to me or my friends or family then I get a text from my mom saying " we aren't coming back to the house "

I already knew that then she texted why she said "we don't have much money to get a plane ticket for all of us so we are staying here we will work here and you know where all the money is"

"I know ok mom bye"

I started to cry was I ever going to see my parents brother or sister ever again

I don't even know where they are so I can't visit them

Emma hugs me and asks me why I'm crying so I tell her

Then I see someone behind everyone it was max

"He's here" I say and they know who I'm talking about

They all tern around and he jumps behind a tree was that my imagination again

"Michelle I think you need some sleep it's the middle of the night lets go to bed" said Noah

"Ok" I say and we take our sleeping bags and put them on the ground. "Let's sleep outside the tent tonight" said Emma

"Ok" me and cole say at the same time

And we all hop into our sleeping bags and we sleep

Until 2:00am

Coles POV

I was woken up at 2;00 am by somone

It was max he said to me "listen stay away from Michelle she likes me not you so back off"

"No way she's my girl friend" I say

"Fine then" he says and hits me repeatedly with a shovel. I start to bleed. I pass out

He runs away

Emma's POV

I wake up with Michelle in the corner and Noah next to me. I look around. Where's cole I think. He was with us last night. I go outside to see if he's out there

I look around I see a shovel with a lot of blood on it and Coles head next to it (yes the head is still on the body) "Michelle come out here now"

Michelle doesn't come out so I wake her up "what" she says

"You might want to see this" I say

We walk out together me holding her hand and she looks at cole and says on word

"Max. he was really there I saw him but I didn't do anything if I said anything he wouldn't be like this" Michelle said

"We have to take him to the doctor" I say

"The nearest doctors is 1 mile we can put him in a wheel barrow from the field over there I'll go get it" Michelle said while running to get the wheel barrow

When she came back we put him in the wheel barrow and we ran with Michelle pushing and Noah carrying me because of my knee

~at the hospital~
I got my own bed and so did cole they were going to do an x-Ray on my knee

Coles POV
I wake up on a hospital bed

With a girl standing next to me I look right into her eyes. She's beautiful. Her red hair falls in front of her left eye and smiles at me

"Cole your awake" she says and hugs me

"Your Beautiful" I say not thinking at all

"Well I knew that but thanks I mean your my bf" she says

"I am....ummmm I don't remember you" I say with confusion in my voice

Her smile faded and she stared to cry and ran out of the room

At that moment I realized who she was and blood dripped down my face and I stared to cry
