Mirthless depths, with slips of grey in between

It's funny to think
How far we've gone
How much we've gained
And how much we lost
Funny to think
That once I was just like you
Young, naive
Brash, youthful
But that time is long gone,
I've sailed far away
And when it's time for you to call me back

Once I loved you,

Once we had all
Now we crawl
Scrambling for the pieces
Of a love that dissipated
The day you delivered the death knell
