Overflowing Problems

Jin, Osamu, and Chika exchanged glances, the girl continued her story.

"Well, it wasn't anything serious till I saw a shadow, or I think it was. It had a human shape...? Very dark it resembled like a shadow. I only saw it in the corner of my eye, it was pretty fast. It headed towards the young boy... Worried for him, I ran after the boy to save him but it was too late... I don't know what happened but... he just suddenly disappeared, as a bright light took him..."

Jin, Osamu, and Chika looked so shocked and worried, they were scared. Scared for their albino neighbor... They want to save him as soon as possible.

Himari clenched her hands into fists and gripped the couch. She felt ashamed for not being able to save the young boy.

"Hey! Wait! Watch out!-"

"ugh!-"

"h-huh?! where did he go...?"

Brushing that awful memory off, her attempt to save the boy was... useless.

In Calvaria...

"You improved with your fighting skills, Yuma," Yugo said to his son

Yugo noticed Yuma get bored every now and then so he decided in his free time to train him again. Yugo was impressed with Yuma's skills, but he needed a bit more training of course.

Yuma actually made some sloppy movements on purpose, he can't risk his father getting suspicious. Yuma did improve his fighting skills, rather he was used to fighting. For 4 years he has been fighting. 

After training with his father, Yuma went strolling around the fortress. Waving at some comrades, and thinking.

'Should I use my black trigger or my border trigger..." Yuma questioned himself.

Replica on the other hand was in Yuma's room, he has witnessed Yuma acting strangely. He decided to check on the writings he had made, recently he added more to the stash of paper. He forgot the store it in the cabinet because his father called him in a hurry.

Replica hovered over the papers and read them, tons of question came in mind when he first read them, but slowly it got answered the more he progressed through the writings.

'This Yuma that is here, is the Yuma from the future...' Replica concluded

Most of his writings were plans and about time. The name "Horatia" caught the trion soldier's eye, the time keeper which rumors said she had been dead or went missing.

Yuma entered his room and locked the door, he looked at Replica who innocently sat on Yuma's bed, away from the stack of papers.

"You read them didn't you, Replica?" Yuma asked his partner

"I did no such thing, Yuma, how was your training with your father?" Replica lied smoothly

"..you make the stupidest lies, Replica, I know you figured it out, don't try to change the subject. What have you concluded?" Yuma demanded

Replica fell silent. How did Yuma know he was lying? Or maybe he was too obvious?

"...You are Yuma, from the future, are you not?" Replica answered

There was a brief silence before Yuma answered.

"Correct."

"You are trying to find out how you got here?"

"Correct."

"Have you found a good theory?"

"No, still trying to find a logical one."

Replica asked Yuma the rest of his questions, such as, 'what happened in the future' and 'what was he doing'

Yuma answered truthfully knowing he could trust his partner. Replica then decided to help Yuma in his plans since he didn't see any ill intentions. Yuma happily thanked him.

In Border...

"Agent Kuga, captured by a mysterious shadow?" Kido said clarifying what Osamu just said.

"Is that all?" Kyoko asked, writing the information down

"Yes, we are still finding some other strong leads on where Yuma could have gone to." Jin replied to border's assistant director.

"Where do you think Yuma-senpai got captured?" Shun asked, worried for his albino rival.

"Kuga has been gone for a day, there's still no strong leads as where he is." Murakami said

"I hope we find Yuma-senpai soon, he owes me a lot of matches."

"Is Horatia alive or dead"

Yuma scrolled down, looking at the screen. Most of them show that she was dead, though there is no solid evidence regarding it.

After hours of continuous scrolling he did not find any other useful information. All the information were the same, but written in different words.

There was no saying of Horatia sending people from the present to the past to changed their mistakes, overall Yuma was frustrated because of the lack of information.

Yuma was thinking whether he should use his black trigger or his border trigger, if he used his border trigger could border track him? Given from the fact Replica gave them neighbor would map his father made. It might not be possible for he was in the past, right?

If he used his black trigger, I think it would be a lot safer. After all his father did when him about a black trigger assassin participating the war. Calvaria has a chance to win with a black trigger help defend their nation.

Alright, Yuma made up his mind, he was gonna use his black trigger but before hopping into the war he will spectate. If they get pushed back Yuma was joining the battle and confess everything to his father, friends, and allies.

'I wonder what happened back at Japan...' Yuma thought

Yuma slept knowing tomorrow was going to be a big day. A war will happen, also known as the day his father died.

Heyyy!!!
Second chapter is finally done, the 3rd however will take a bit more time because I'm drowning in my homeworks. Horatia and Himari are both fanon characters, they are not real, just characters I made to fit the plot <3

Each chapter will was about 2,000 words. I think this story will have 3-5 chapters, I'm not sure. I have ideas for the next so stay updated!

Horatia backstory when???

In the next chapter, just a short summary of her backstory, oh and what I'm gonna write in the next chapter is VERY FANON!! Please don't take it seriously! Once this story ends, I'm gonna take priority on my other story <3
